Unwind in the hot tub in the attached screened-in porch, allowing it to be used year-round. Outdoor picnic area overlooks the beautiful mountain views.

This place felt like a home the hot tub was amazing and it was beautiful. The drive up the mountain is a little scary the first time especially in the dark but we got use to it very quickly. Will definitely be back!!

Lovely cabin with many amenities. Location of the property up a steep incline was a little scary and no address marker so went to wrong place but once inside it was pleasant and as advertised. Close to national park which was a necessity

Great Cabin

Could use improvement

This is a decent place to stay. It wasn’t as clean as I would’ve expected. The blankets looked like they had maybe left over food on them, there was hair on the shower wall from a previous guest, the counter top had some kind of residue on it. The grill was dirty as well, which I get people using and not cleaning but I feel maybe cleaning staff should be looking that over. The drive up is STEEP so be mindful. All in all it was a great stay, I would’ve just expected a few cleaning tweaks. I would stay here again. Extremely peaceful & a really nice home.

Wonderful cabin!

We loved everything about this place. Nice area with great views of the forest and the mountains, cool fire pit and viewpoint area, wonderfully furnished house and a great hot tub. The wifi connection was excellent, and the house was spotless when we moved in. Every electrical appliance is up to date and in good condition. Not much to say other than the vacation went great thanks to this house.

My family frequently visists this area and this was one of the best places we have ever stayed! This well appointed cabin was perfect for our relaxing family getaway. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the home was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and we truly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this mountain retreat! I hope our travels bring us back to Hawks Landing very soon!

Sylva Vacation

We chose this property for its ease in getting to from the main road and nearness to Sylva. In that regard, the property exceeded our expectations. Aside from the information provided by the agency, we found the property to be extremely clean, TV and WiFi excellent, and a kitchen with a surplus of plates, cups, and utinsels. We would certainly rent the property again.

Nestled HIGH

Rented this cabin for a girls get away and it was perfect! We made lots of memories on our short stay. The house was fully stocked with all that you would need for entertainment and just a good ole time. The cute town of Sylva with all you would need is just a few miles away with some great eateries and entertainment for the whole family. Like most have commented about the drive up it is approx half a mile up a mountain side so for us it was completely expected. It is steep, your breaks and transmission won’t appreciate it and you DO NOT want to be out after dark however if you are an experienced driver all this is manageable. If you want the views, you have to be elevated. Smaller vehicles are recommended however 4x4 will be needed in inclement weather and all of this is stated in the description. I definitely will be coming back! 💕
