About this property
Bozeman-Bridger Retreat with Hot Tub and Mountain Views
Beautiful log home in the Bridger Mountains. Mountain views, hot tub, and nearby skiing and hiking and mountain biking. A perfect place to unwind and encourage creativity. Beautifully situated 3 bdrm, 2 ba. home tucked among the pines on mountainous 26 acres with a spacious wrap around deck. Four wheel drive vehicle with good tires is required in winter.
A cozy yet commodious ski chalet, hunters lodge, hiking or mountain biking base, summer writing and reflecting retreat, or fly fishing cabin. Mule deer, white tail, elk, raccoon, and moose are routinely sighted on the property. Brackett Creek, a shallow trout stream with browns and cutthroat and rainbow, meanders through the property.
A one mile driveway leads up from Skunk Creek Road to the house, nestled in a protected draw of the heart of Bridger Canyon, with views of the Crazies and the Bridgers all around. FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IS A MUST IN THE WINTER!
Just 15 minutes away is Bridger Bowl, a fabulous family-style ski area that also guards the secret of one of the most challenging expert powder ridges in the west. 90 minutes away is the more well-known Big Sky Ski Resort. Equidistant is Yellowstone National Park, one of the nation's greatest summer attractions but one which is open, as beautiful and far less crowded in the winter season as well.
And the summer in the Bozeman area offers rodeos, arts, music, farmer's markets and dance festivals as well as wide open main streets of some of the most charming and genuinely friendly small Western towns you'd find anywhere.
This Non-Smoking, Log Home features three living levels, all with spectacular mountain and nature views. A light and very comfortable interior including three bedrooms, two baths. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with a working antique gas stove, plus all modern built-in appliances such as microwave and dishwasher. A wood-burning stove warms the air in this relaxing retreat.
The main floor bath has an oversize antique clawfoot tub. Large sliding glass doors welcome you out onto the 1500 square foot of exterior deck and up the landscaped walkway to your private hot tub, where you can enjoy the countless stars of the Milky Way on a cool spring or autumn night, or the gentle snowfall of a crisp night of winter after a full day of skiing.

Great house in the woods. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and a great place to unplug and recharge! Gravel biking from the house, and a great hike just down the road. Thanks!
A great stay. Very peaceful, tucked away house that’s great to relax in. Had everything we needed to cook great meals and enjoy each other’s company. Very close to Bridger Bowl, which made it very convenient. The host left us all the instructions we needed and we never had to message her about anything.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! My girls enjoyed the hot tub very much!! It was a very private location. Fully stocked kitchen, clean comfortable beds, no complaints at all. We will definitely stay again when we travel to see family.

Gilbert was a great guest and I would welcome back any time!!
The cabin is located on a beautiful piece of property with amazing views. The property is remote, so the drive to places like Bozeman, Belgrade and Yellowstone took a bit, but it was worth the drive. We would stay here again.
Our family enjoyed this beautiful, cozy cabin in the woods. We loved it! Our only complaint was that the grass was really long, so we couldn't enjoy the yard as much as we hoped.

So glad you enjoyed the home. My apologies about the lawn. We have had a great deal of rain and the grass was too wet to mow.
My friends and I had the most lovely time at this beautiful and cozy mountain retreat. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the location is second to none, and the hot tub makes it just the perfect place to get away. The three of us had a plan to stay in pjs, read books, and do puzzles - mission accomplished. An added bonus - a light dusting of snow to really drive home the cozy. We would stay again without question. Thanks, Katherine!!

And I do hope you'll return. It was a pleasure to have you!!
What a great cabin in the mountains! The fireplace and hot tub were two amenities that scores some serious points! We had everything we needed and some…. Great place at a fair price I would recommend to anyone! Cheers!
It was a great secluded cabin. Only complaint would be the comfort of the living room furniture if you want to lounge and watch a movie. Otherwise everything I hoped for.
This property was exceptional. Clean, welcoming, and above expectations. Very nice cozy log home with amazing views and privacy. The property is great for entertaining family/friends inside and out. Highly recommend!
It was an awesome stay. It was horrible getting up to the cabin, it had just snowed and we had to park at the bottom of the hill, it was a trek so if it is winter make sure you bring an aggressive vehicle. Cabin and hot tub were great

I wish you hadn't had to park at the bottom of the driveway.
As you know, that happened because you had bald tires.
We require folks to have 4 wheel drive in the winter and that works well.
Hope you made it back safely!!
