Best view in town Sleeps 10 with 5 1/2 bathrooms


Stupendous views of Ten Mile Range, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with modern open layout. Great for a family or friends retreat, with lots of room to spread out. Each of 5 large bedrooms has a full adjoining bathroom. There are two large living areas, one on each floor. Ground floor has full size pool table and TV viewing area, and lots of games. There is a great deck facing the Mountain View, with chairs and gas BBQ grill.

Location...location...location: Halcyon is up high above town, a 2 minute walk to Baldy trailhead, and to the Free Shuttle that goes to the gondola or to town. It runs every 30 minutes, so leave the car behind. Because it is just outside of town limits, your taxes will be 6% less than most other Breck properties. 4WD or AWD required in Colorado on all highways when it snows. Be sure to come prepared!

Heated garage, hi-speed wifi, cable, heated hardwood floors, two fireplaces. Ultimately a quiet, comfortable, beautiful home with the best views around.

ACTIVITIES:
Trails for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing abound, the closest access is 2 minutes walk away.
Bikes (including electric-assist "just in case" you get tired) can be rented in town.
Free Bus to town is a 3 minute walk to bus stop at Baldy Trailhead. Takes about 10 minutes to the gondola (home is longer due to stops).
There is an elaborate bike trail system. You can ride to Frisco and get on the bus (with your bike) and head back to town.
Great restaurants, a small theatre, music and concerts in the summer.
At home, there are over 30 games, and a full book shelf for your enjoyment.

Absolutely fantastic location - close to town but quiet and private. Lots of room - plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms - everybody had privacy but also had two dens to gather and socialize.The kitchen was very well stocked and the two fireplaces kept the whole house warm.Owner reached out early and walked us through how everything worked. She's really thought of everything and was very easy to reach.Hope to come back again next year - it's a fantastic vacation home.

Stunning Views & Easy Access to Mountain

Incredible views of Breckenridge day and night! The access to skiing and town was a cinch, even in snowy conditions. The accommodations were awesome. Very clean, updated, and comfortable. Would highly recommend for large (10+) groups looking for a mountain getaway.

Donna's house was wonderful, the views of Breckenridge can't be beat and the drive town only takes about 10 minutes. The furnishings were high quality and there was plenty of space for our group of 4 families. Donna was very helpful and communicative throughout the process.

Yearly guys ski trip

The house was amazing. Owners made everything very clear and straightforward. Really our only issue all week was the disaster that is the Breck bus system. Bus stops don’t match their web site, the word loop completely evades them, just drive down to be on the mountain and all willl be well.

This house is even better than pictured. It was perfect for our family vacation group of 8 adults. We loved the private bathrooms and plenty of comfortable places to spread out and relax. There is plenty of seating for meals and really comfortable furniture for family game nights. The kitchen might even be stocked better than my own - we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. Donna was accessible for the small questions I had. The location is an easy drive to town and hiking and the view from the deck is even better than a picture can capture. I would recommend this house to anyone and wish it was mine!!

A month in Breckinridge

The house was so clean and comfortable!! Truly a home away from home. We felt right at home the minute we unpacked. We woke every morning to the most beautiful views and watched the sunset most nights from the balcony. We enjoyed putting on the fireplace a couple of mornings. The trail to Mt Baldy is just down the street and so quick to access. My husband and children enjoyed being at the top of the mountain and mountain biking down to the bottom. So many trails to explore. Instacart delivered a few times, as well as amazon without any problems. Donna, our host, was always very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The house and Breckenridge were both hard to leave.

This property was perfect for our stay! The layout is very good for a large family or multiple families. The view is absolutely amazing! Fabulous Home

This home is totally fabulous for your stay in Breckenridge, 5 bedrooms and 5.1 baths made our family vacation so complete and comfortable for everyone. Home is so meticulously maintained with everything you will need for your stay. Two story ceilings on main floor add to the open and clean lines of this property. Master is roomy and other bedrooms are nice size, with accommodating closet space. Home is so well equipped with everything for your stay. Lower level is complete with two bedrooms each with own bath, large family room area with pool table. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Breckenridge. Great view and location.

This property was perfect for our group of 10 adults. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and at least queen size bed which was perfect for couples. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Beautiful views for a great family gathering

Beautiful setting and the host thought of everything that we needed ( from a changing table to a French press). Friendly neighbors, close to hiking trails and a free bus ride to town. The sunset and stars at night were memorizing. The host was available for any minor concerns ( of which there were few ). Thank you for giving our family a vacation that they will talk about for years...

Above our expectations. The property was all that the listing said and more. You can tell that the owners take care of their investments. The house is very clean up-to-date and spacious. A great view of the mountain range from the large living area which made it a dream to wake up to every day. Everything in the house worked as expected. When we return to that area we will be using this property again.

The house was big, beautiful and modern. Each room has its own bathroom which was great and convenient for everyone. It has a pool table and lots of other games. They also provide sleds for you to use. The house wasn’t as clean as we expected but asides from that everything was wonderful. We would go out to the balcony every morning and enjoy the view. There’s many fun things to do around the area. My family and I loved it and would definitely consider staying here again 🙂

Family Thanksgiving Trip

Beautiful home with a spectacular view. Plenty of space for my family. Only tricky thing was driving in the snow on those winding roads. This South Texas family is not used to snow covered roads. Overall a beautiful experience, property manager did a great job in keeping us informed.

Simply AMAZING!

We just returned from a weekend trip to Breckenridge where we rented Woodmoor, a great find as a new property listing. As a group of 6 women it was unanimous, Woodmoor was a spectacular stay! The views, the open floor plan, gourmet kitchen, high end appointments, comfortable cozy beds, each with an ensuite plus a 1/2 bath off the main living area and that's just the upper level. There is a large media room with a full size pool table in the lower level with two private bedrooms w/attached baths. The house is quiet, clean, exceptionally comfortable and well appointed throughout. This trip was our 6th annual where we have rented in Breckenridge each previous year and the group has agreed, unanimously, Woodmoor has far surpassed all of our previous rentals and we will be back in 2020! The location is an easy drive just 10 minutes from town with the free bus stop just a few feet down the road and a trail head next door! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! See you next year!

Why they chose this property

It is comfortable, beautiful, and the location is awesome. AND unlike most Breckenridge homes, you don't pay local accommodation or city tax! We are just outside city limits, so you save 3.9% on the tax portion of the rental.

What makes this property unique

This home has a special feel because it is up so high, and the view is everywhere. It's quiet and peaceful, while access to town is so easy. We are on the Free bus route (comes every 30 minutes), and a 2 minute walk to the trails. The home is comfortable with a private bathroom for each bedroom.
