My band mates and I have stayed here multiple times when we've come down to record. Its the perfect place to stay. Close to everything you need but still feels like you're out in the country. The host is amazing and it's always a pleasure being here.

Darling, cozy cottage. Wrap around porch is amazing and perfect for coffee and contemplation in the morning. Bed is super comfy and the porch swing is so fun! Love the authentic vintage decor, very lovely and comfy. Beautiful setting among the trees.

The cozy cottage felt like my grandmother’s house. The large azalea bushes were in full bloom, and we loved sitting and eating on the large screened porch. It was conveniently located near our relatives in the area. The Abita Brewery was nearby and a fun place to hang out.

Merry is an excellent host! This was our 2nd time staying at her lovely home. Our nephew stayed in the guest house. It was great that he got to have some privacy. We stayed in the main house. The bed we slept in is super comfy. I loe that the house is away from the road. It's nice & quiet, just what we want on vacation!

Charming in Abita
