Great Place to Stay!

Our family of 8 had a great time! Sam was super informative and helpful during the reservation and check-in process. This condo had everything we needed and the location was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. You are literally STEPS away from the beach. We will definitely consider this condo again for future travels to the Destin area. Thank you, Sam for sharing your home away from home with us!

Great Spot!

We had a wonderful stay in Destin with much of the enjoyment coming from the relaxed and beautiful setting provided by the condo. First floor with a great view of the beach and ocean, plus a nice grass area right in front. Condo is spacious, clean, updated, and well stocked. Sam (owner) was very gracious and easy to communicate with. Genuine hospitality!

Repeat stay

Had plumbing issues and issues with the dryer. All were resolved during our stay and communication was continuous from property owner during repairs. Beautiful property with excellent location.

Great beach location

Nice 3 bedroom condo. Third bedroom is small but manageable. Perfect for kids. Great location with easy access to the beach. Full size washer/dryer. I left with no dirty clothes or beach towels. Fabulous master bathroom!!! Already planning stay for next year. Host super friendly. Felt like I was communicating with a friend. My only complaint which has nothing to do with condo was the guy running the beach chair service. He was grumpy.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

This was our first visit to Destin, FL and Crystal Dunes was very nice! We stayed on the first floor in unit #102 which is just steps away from the beach out the sliding doors and the pool is conveniently located right outside the front door. The kitchen was well equipped which made it easy to cook in several nights. Owner, Sam D'Amico, was very easy to work with and was kind enough to allow us to enter the condo when we arrived an hour early. My family is already talking about next year's vacation!

Everything that we wanted and more!!

First off wanted to say that this property owner was so friendly and very accommodating to us. The condo was very clean and met all of our expectations for our vacation. The views were breathtaking and having a floor level unit was very convenient and we loved being literally steps to the beach. Speaking of the beach, it is wonderful having private premises to enjoy the beautiful coast without the crowds and having daily beach service is great. This time our visit to Destin was for a girls only trip which included a young child. The security officer and gated entrance was a great safety feature which provided peace of mind while traveling so far from home. We look forward to visiting Destin again and I definitely hope to stay at this condo again soon. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us!!!

Awesome Condo

Condo is ground level with beautiful view of the ocean only steps away from the ocean. Good restaurants close by. Condo was very clean and decorated nicely. Highly recommend this unit.

First time in Destin

First time to Destin and it was awesome. The owner Sam is amazing and I feel like I made friend forever. Sam checked in on us to make sure we were doing alright and that we had everything we needed. The condo was very nice and perfect location . View was spectacular.

Great location and property!

My family and sister and husband stayed at this location a week ago. We have grown partial to staying on the beach, and this was just that. The view is amazing, and it's less than a 30 second walk and you're on the beach. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. There were beach toys in the closet for my son to play with. Crystal Dunes in a very small, quiet condo which we love. The location is also less crowded than if we went east or west. Restaurants and activities were a short drive. I'm always concerned is the the comfort of beds when I stay anywhere so I will say that the king and queen beds were extremely soft beds and the twin beds were more firm. I'm partial to firm, so I slept in the small bedroom with my son. There were a couple of questions we had and Sam was very responsive and helpful with anything. This is a great place to stay and I've already recommended to other friends.

Vacation in Paradise!

What a great condo Sam has! The pictures of it are spot on. It was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable! It felt like home. The Master bed was super comfortable and what a view from the bedroom and living room of the beautiful beach. We spent every day on the beach and then relaxed on the patio in the evening. The pool was warm and clean and the blue lights in the pool at night were so calming. You will not want to leave this place. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful location-awesome communication

Everything was easy and the owner was awesome to work and communicate with. The condo is a mile down the road from the Crab Trap - so convenience to restaurants is great. The condo is located on the first floor, so no up and down flights of stairs (except to use the trash shoot). The condo (overall) was well cared for. Unfortunately the cleaner he had before we checked in did a rushed job but you could tell the condo was taken care of - but it was a rush job. Nothing that would put me off on renting this again. The beds were soooo comfortable and the decorating of the condo was beachy and not overly done (I loved it!). The view is awesome - literally you are 10-15 steps to the stairs to go to the beach. If I had one downside- it would be the neighbors above during our time were hard walkers and had kids that would run the length of the condo...other than that I would definitely 💯 rent from Sam again!!!

Loved everything about this place. Exactly as the details described it would be. Being on the first floor gave us extra living space for the kids to have fun. If you have little ones the convenience of the beach access helps so much! Sam was such a joy to work with. He responded promptly and took care of any needs we had (we only had 1). Our weeklong stay at Crystal Dunes #102 was perfect! The condo was spacious with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Sam was always available to answer any questions I had. Would definitely stay there again!

PERFECT for families!

Very nice condo, literally steps away from the beach. We chose this because we wanted to be right on the beach without having to cross a street or drive to get there, and we weren't disappointed! To sit on the patio and watch and listen to the waves is priceless. The condo is clean and appreciate that we had plenty of room to spread out. Really appreciate the washer/dryer! We had a few meals in, and were able to walk very short distances to Camille's and 790 on the Gulf. REALLY good food at both places! Sam is really easy to reach if you have any questions. He always got back to me quickly with answers. This is one spot we will DEFINITELY return to again! Book it, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent location for a family vacation!

For starters, the property owner is wonderful to work with! Excellent communication and checking in on us prior to arrival with everything we needed to know to make our trip easy and seamless. The condo itself is immaculate: beautifully and modernly decorated, super clean, all beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to do any food prep or cooking, but one of the best parts about this condo is being on the first floor and being so close to the beach, especially when you have small children. Great pool and hot tub on the premises. Maintenance staff is also wonderful at this condo property. In addition, the location in Crystal Beach is wonderful, convenient to shopping and within walking distance to Camille’s restaurant. Feels very family friendly and more like you’re “home.” If you enjoy running, this is a also a great spot, with sidewalks and great beach views near scenic 98. Wish we could give it 10 stars! We’ll be back!!!!

Overall, the view and proximity to the beach is the best!!!

We loved Sam’s place at the beach. Perfect for 3 sisters who’ve been coming to Destin since the ‘80’s. The living room/ kitchen was nicely appointed and a sliding glass doors to the patio with a perfect beach view. The 2 large bedrooms were fine but the smaller bedroom was very, very small —really only suitable for small kids. The bathrooms need updating especially the smaller one. The patio furniture definitely needs replacing. But you can’t beat Sam for helpfulness and attentiveness. Even though the condo needs updating to provide a more luxurious and peaceful stay, we would still go back because of the view and proximity to the beach.
