Pays-de-belves is a charming little town with a lot to offer situated on a steep hill! The house is located within walking distance to the centre where you will find cafes, restaurants and shops. The local supermarket Spa is also a short walk. We stayed in August , like other reviews mosquitoes were a plenty. The house itself boasts lovely grounds and plenty of space outside , the pool is certainly the main focal point of the house and was a great way to cool down during the peak summer season. Inside the house it quite dated , though not a negative, the decor and furniture particularly in the bedrooms is limited, I.e no real wardrobe space, desks or side boards. We stayed for two weeks and had to keep our clothes in the suitcase. The house suffers from water ingress. During a thunder storm, water enters most of the windows flooding the floors and entering the house. The windows are aged as are the shutters. Unfortunately they arent water tight. Something to bear in mind. The kitchen is small but adequate. Though I would argue you would struggle to fit 10 people inside the house. We had 6 and that was enough. The dinning room floor had damage and was being covered with a large chipboard sheet. The floor in the entrance hall way has sunk, particularly at the front door entrance, which is not level and is a hazard if you have young or elderly in your group. We loved the area , and enjoyed our holiday but would probably choose a house with air-conditioning next time. Sleeping in such heat wasn't comfortable and would be a great addition to think about adding to attract more customers.

Stunning villa with outstanding views but there is not a sea view which it describes as having! Lovely bedrooms, great pool, lots of room and a great distance from the town which is only a few minutes walk away and has nice restaurants and bars. The only problem we encountered was the amount of mosquitos around the pool seating area. We were a party of 8, including 2 children, and we were all bitten so much we spent the whole week taking antihistamines and covering ourselves in mosquito spray and we couldn't sit outside after late afternoon which was disappointing The owners should treat the grass at the start of the season to kill the eggs so this isn't an issue as it did spoil our stay and would stop me from booking it again but everything else was great.

De een zal het een charmant huis noemen, wij vonden het erg oud en vervallen. Met trots werd ons gewezen op originele details (bijv de raamdecoratie), wij vonden het oud, kapot en niet goed werkend. Bijna het gehele huis heeft parket vloeren, maar vloeren zijn erg scheef en soms zat t naar beneden. Goed uitkijken dus. Geen gezellige woonkamer, slechts een bank in de hal. Ook ligt het een een doorlopende weg, wat geen vrij uitzicht vanuit het terras betekent. We zijn eerder vertrokken.

Wat een plek 🤩 dat uitzicht… zodra je de ramen open doet of op het terras met koffie begint heb je een prachtig uitzicht. Het huis daarentegen kan wel wat updates gebruiken. Nu waren wij er tijdens een hittegolf dus dan is het slapen zonder airco sws een uitdaging. Maar de ventilatoren die er in alle kamer waren deden het bijna niet dat was wel erg jammer. De hoeveelheid muggen was ook 🫣🫣 zowel overdag al ‘s nachts maar daar kan niemand iets aan doen helaas. De vloeren zijn beangstigend oud en kapot. De tegelvloer in de eetkamer moet echt vervangen/gerestaureerd worden want daar zaten verschillende scheuren in zodat ik de laatste avond door 1 tegen ben gezakt wat gelukkig goed is afgelopen. Wifi doet het heel goed. Zwembad is echt geweldig. We hebben genoten in het prachtige en gezellige Belvès 🥰 De gastheer/vrouw zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam.

Huis heeft perfecte ligging met zeer mooi uitzicht en ligt op loopafstand van Belves waar je vers brood kunt halen en een aantal interessante bezienswaardigheden hebt. Verder zijn er binnen een kring van 30 km onnoemelijk veel interessante activiteiten te doen. Het huis loopt over van charme, is ruim, was zeer schoon en comfortabel. Zwembad heerlijk. Minpunt waren de bijgeboekte handdoeken en bedlinnen; ze waren daarentegen niet van de kwaliteit die we bij het huis vonden horen (handdoeken dun, bedlinnen polyester)

La villa a Belvès era perfetta per la nostra riunione di famiglia, I bambini si sono divertiti nel giardino recintato e la piscina privata è stata un successo, Abbiamo amato l'ampio soggiorno dove potevamo riunirci dopo una giornata di esplorazione, I ristoranti vicini erano a pochi passi, rendendo le nostre opzioni di ristorazione super convenienti, Abbiamo anche goduto di qualche giro in canoa sul fiume Dordogne, che era a breve distanza, Consiglio vivamente questo posto per le famiglie!

Fijn huis voor als je met meer gezinnen bent. De keuken is aan de kleine kant. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Zwembad en buitenruimte is ook prima. Restaurantjes en bakker op loopafstand. Heel jammer vinden wij de vele tijgermuggen buiten zitten in de avonden is bij a niet te doen.

Een prachtig huis met sfeervolle accenten en genoeg ruimte voor 6 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. De keuken is voldoende uitgerust maar een beetje klein om met meerdere mensen in te koken. De omgeving is prachtig. De pizzeria 100 meter verderop in de straat was geweldig en er waren 2 bakkers op een 5 tal minuten rijden van het huis. Alles was prima onderhouden en vooral ook heel schoon.

Mooi uitzicht op Belves en omstreken. Verzorgd zwembad met een diepste punt van meer dan 2m. Op wandelafstand van dorpscentrum. We hebben last gehad van veel tijgermuggen ter plaatse. Het huis was redelijk geprijsd en is zeer ruim met genoeg slaapkamers, badkamers en toiletten. Sommige delen van het huis zijn wel sterk verouderd (rolluiken, vloer, meubels). De keuken was vrij klein t.ov. het huis maar was wel goed voorzien van gereedschap en kruiden. Rustige buurt. Horeca op wandelafstand.

Ons weekendje weg was geweldig! Het landhuis was van alle gemakken voorzien, inclusief een goed uitgeruste keuken en vele badkamers, wat ons verblijf comfortabel maakte. We brachten het grootste deel van onze tijd ontspannend door bij het zwembad. Als je op zoek bent naar een rustige plek, dan is dit de plek!

Super toffe locatie met een werkelijk fantastisch zicht, enerzijds een glooiend landschap, anderzijds het medieval stadje Belvès. Keuken van de woning is aan de kleine kant . Tip, gebruik de eetkamer als buffet ruimte en nuttig de maaltijden op het terras vooraan .

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Het huis was imposant en ruim. Soms bleven voorbijgangers zelfs staan en maakten een foto. Het uitzicht op het dorp kan zo op een ansichtkaart. In de dordogne blijft natuurlijk genoeg te beleven. Het perceel was ruim en er was voldoende privacy. Het sanitair is wel wat verouderd.

We hadden een geweldige verblijf in deze herenhuis in Belvès! De kinderen hielden van de privé zwembad en speeltoestellen, Het huis was ruim genoeg voor onze familie van acht, en we genoten van barbecuen op het terras, Alles was schoon en goed onderhouden, Plus, de restaurants in de buurt waren een heerlijke bonus
