Welcome to our Beach House ! We have recently totally renovated and refreshed.

Located in a fantastic quiet location , our house is perfectly set up for your family vacations needs !! , backing onto a river with ample fishing, Beautiful sunsets , quiet neighbors, yet close to all amenities and worlds most famous beach Daytona Beach !. Minutes away from Daytona international Speedway close to Ponce Inlet for fantastic seafood and American dining, and deep sea fishing charters. Great place to relax on the Halifax River and dine.
The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with the odd train nearby , with plenty of parking, barbeque on site, Florida room with view of the river , newly added suntanning area out of the wind and peaceful , and beautiful sunsets right in your own back yard landing on the river !, and the house is nicely furnished with new power leather recliners , new full sized fridge with duel ice cube makers , so one for the cooler needs 😉, brand new 3 1/2 ton central air conditioning unit for the main house and a split air A/C unit for Florida room with heat also if needed . So there’s plenty of cool air or heat for your comfort ! This unit is also a whisper, quiet for smooth, relaxing sleeps !🥶😴

Amazing place with great hosts

The house was perfect for two couples. It is located near so many great attractions. Ron and Wendy were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in suggesting must see attractions. The house was clean and just as pictured. Be sure to check out the "flying and leaping" fish in the back. I will be back to stay with them again.

A working week

The owners were extremely informative. Their place is very clean, comfortable, and close to ALL amenities. After working all day renovating our future place, returning to a quiet, well maintained home was just what we needed. Definitely will rent again. Thank you.

Perfect for our needs

Great space. Plenty of room. Outside grounds well maintained. Location on canal provided great views and plenty of wildlife. Located in a residential area with no noise issues at night. There is a train track nearby but by the time u figure out what it is it’s gone (Amtrak?). Plan on staying here on our next trip.

Excellent property with great outdoor viewing and fishing

The property is beautiful and very clean and up kept. The scenery in the backyard is wonderful with all sorts of wildlife. The fishing on the canal is non stop and with a variety of fishes. The property owner was very easy to contact And extremely pilot. He answered any concerns and I will definitely be contacting him to rent again here.

Everything was perfect from the communication with the property owner to the property itself. The fishing on the property is phenomenal we caught a variety of fish ranging from mangrove snapper, catfish and snook. We even caught a decent amount of blue crab. My 8 year old didn’t want to leave. Cleanliness was top notch as well. We all rated this property 10/10. We will be returning.

This home is exactly as pictured. Inviting and cozy. Clean and beautiful. I was not disappointed. The AC in the Florida room is a bit loud at night and the train comes by a few times but its all part of the environment. I will be back.

Great everything!

This home was exactly as advertised! Very clean, comfortable, so many amenities and so close to everything! My daughter was between dorm moves and flying certification and Ron was so amenable to opening up his home on literally a last minute request. Publix within minutes, 8 minutes to the beach and so many restaurants, etc. The two bedrooms was key and the beds were so very comfortable. I loved sitting in the backyard overlooking the water with my morning coffee. And the trains? Barely noticed and to quote a most famous movie..."You know what the three most exciting sounds in the world are... anchor chains, plane motors and train whistles." And Ron was available if needed - he checked on us several times to make sure we were all set and to answer any questions or issues! This place is definitely on my list for next time we head down to the Daytona area. Great place Ron and Wendy!

Pros: The house was as pictured; there was a thermostat in every room, and there were hungry crabs in the river. Cons: The owners will contact you via email and phone more than the normal owner at a guesthouse. Be sure to check your emails regularly. They expect a prompt response. Besides the previous texts and calls, I was sent a message to text them an hour before I arrived and then call them when I arrived. On the departure day, I started receiving texts at 8am and calls at 9am to remind me to depart before 11am and leave the house as I found it. This brings me to the 2 pages of rules in the home not listed on vrbo. The door code didn't work the next day, I contacted the owner to let them know. This led to ranting texts and finger-pointing for over an hour before another pin was sent with more finger-pointing. This led me to keep quiet about anything else, like the refrigerator not having ice, being warm, and the Florida room's almost unbearable smell. Plus the numerous cameras…

Nice place, some issues

The place is neat and tidy, and has everything you need. Ron was nice and very responsive if you need him. We booked to stay for 11 weeks (77 nights) so that we had somewhere to stay while we looked for a home to buy after relocating back to Florida from living overseas. I can see how this place could be very suitable for a short term stay, but I do not recommend it for a long term stay. Ron checks in with you very frequently, which some could find endearing, others could find excessive. We were accused of flushing the toilet too many times, using too much toilet paper and using too much electricity. Ron wanted to send the neighbor into the home often to do things that could have been done before we arrived or after we left: change the air filter, spray pest control. There are approximately 5 cameras around the property, with at least 2 of them with audio capabilities, which obviously isn’t a problem if you’re abiding by the rules, however, just feels like an invasion of privacy. I have stayed at short term rentals that had Ring Cameras before, however, they left instructions on where the plugs for the cameras were and advised that you could unplug them during your stay and asked that you plug them in before you leave. This makes more sense to me, however, this is not what happens here. Ron also controls the thermostat and wants to keep it at 75. It should also be noted that the home is directly across the street from an active railroad track, so loud trains are frequent.

Waterfront Rental

Our experience renting this property was good. Property manager was very accessible by phone answering any questions I had. The rental was very comfortable and centrally located for all of our excursions. My only regret was we could not stay longer. The rental was probably the cleanest we have stayed in.

Excellent Property

The property was totally equipped. Ron bent over backwards to be both available and helpful. Both my wife were very comfortable with the living quarters. The outside was pleasant. Fish were leaping out of the canal water. I would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks Ron.

Our names are Ron and Wendy we bought this house in 2019, we are both retired snowbirds from Ontario Canada, we have been going to Daytona Beach area for the years past and we finally decided to buy a house in Florida. We love our home in Florida so much that we decided also to share it with other people.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property because it has a beautiful sunset view from the backyard overlooking the river. It is in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood yet if we drive five minutes we can get into the very busy city limits of Daytona Beach.

What makes this property unique

It is close to all amenities within minutes either walking or bicycling or driving your vehicle. A beautiful sunset and fishing in your own backyard.
