You will arrive at a level parking area with level-access to the single story home. There is enough space to park multiple cars. In the front of the home is a grass area and a picnic table for you to enjoy.

As you enter the home, you will be welcomed into a spacious living and dining area with 1/2 bath, mountain stone fireplace with gas logs, flat panel smart TV. The living area has a queen sofa bed (bed linen provided), comfortable to sleep two adults. The fully equipped and updated kitchen offers new granite counter tops, new stainless steel appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave), one regular and one Keurig coffee maker and all your dishes and utensils. The dining area includes the kitchen counter with bar-stools and a modern 4-person dining table between the kitchen and living room.

There are 2 large master bedroom suites with attached bath on either side of the living area. Each master suite includes a King size bed, gas fireplace, smart TV, and a large 2-person Jacuzzi with spectacular views from each room.

Beyond the living room is the most mesmerizing area of the home - the back deck! Take a dip in the hot tub or just kick back on the patio furniture and take in the amazing view! This is an experience that is not to be missed.

There is high-speed 400 MBPs Xfinity Wi-Fi throughout the home.

We have a private driveway that will fit multiple cars. It is possible to turn around in the driveway (a lot of cabins don't have this feature).

If you want the spectacular view you have to drive up! If this is your first time in the Gatlinburg area, we do recommend you arrive for the first time during daylight hours to get used to the mountain roads. We do recommend a 4 wheel drive if it snows. Your car will not have any trouble getting up and down the mountain roads, we just like to make things perfectly clear.

We need you to sign it and share your credit card info through our secure reservation system for a $300 deposit. It's important that you review and sign this agreement within 48 hours of receipt to maintain your booking. If this step is overlooked, your reservation may be subject to automatic cancellation as per our house rules. Great Potential
Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the lack of care (for the property) and hospitality. The view get 5 stars. The layout of the home gets 5 stars, but that's where the good ended. Overall, the place needs a thorough cleaning. The filth around the door knob on the front door was our first impression. There was old dirt everywhere- all the woodwork is dirty and splattered, there were chunks of dust clinging to the walls above the cabinets in the kitchen, and the dried-on food on the inside lid of the garbage can was disgusting. I could go on, but you get the idea. Fill the holes in the walls if you aren't going to put up artwork and give the place a fresh coat of paint. For a place in this price range, I would expect, at a minimum, salt and pepper, a few basic spices in the cabinets, paper products like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and storage containers for food. I've also never stayed in any rented hotel or private residence where there wasn't at least starter Keurigs/coffee and Kleenex. The soap dispensers in the showers were broken and unfilled. The garbage cans in the bathrooms were ancient and had rust on them. One of the lights in one of the showers was full of dead bugs. Final thought- it didn't feel like we were staying in a home that was owned by someone who cared about their property or who wanted to be a good host...it felt more like an abandoned- albeit beautiful- hunting cabin that we happened upon. Unfortunately, we can't recommend staying here.

Stay At Shala
Property had a wonderful view. Perfect for two couples. Kitchen really needs utensils and pans. We had one skillet. Our biggest issue was the air conditioner didnt work and it got very hot in the evening. Since it was Easter there was nobody to fix it but the host did give us a credit for one night. We had a good time regardless.

View Was Great Everything Else Not So Much
The view was amazing, but thats about all. The hot tub was nice but when youre sitting in the hot tub you cant see the mountains because there is a large board on the railing blocking your view. There were 2 boards broken on the porch that they sat a plastic trash can in front of to block the opening. The place is very outdated. I felt like i was staying in my great grandmas house. The mattresses were terrible. There was a broken bowl sitting on the the counter when we came in. The showers and the tubs are old and stained. The living room was just random pieces of furniture that dont match and it did not look like it did in the pictures. Weve stayed in a lot of cabins and this was the most weve ever paid for one so our expectations were high and we were very disappointed.

Birthdays
Had a great time. We have been staying in Gatlinburg twice a year for over 20 years now and this was the best view we've had. Had 4 bears come visit and one climbed on the deck to say hello, we just waved thru the window
