Guest booked and arrived. After being at the townhouse for one hour he left and sent us a message that he wouldn’t be staying there because he did not want to use the stairs. We advised him to call Vrbo and cancel the reservation in order to free up the days so it could be rebooked. We offered to refund any nights we were able to rebook.
Our stay was delightful. The two balconies were so special to have morning quiet time with a cup of coffee. Donna was very responsive and the layout was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful kitchen. The area felt safe and walkable with several sidewalks near to downtown. There was even a historical civil war marker adjacent to the property.
It was a lovely stay, and ideal for folks from two different households sharing a VRBO, since there are separate floors for the bedrooms. There were a lot of stairs, so not ideal for people with mobility issues. Also I set off the door alarm a couple of times by accident, which is a bit stressful. (Just re-enter the correct door code to get it to hush.) However, I would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Chattanooga.
My husband and I, along with our corgi, had a great 3-night stay in this townhome which is conveniently located between Lookout Mountain and downtown Chattanooga. The listing was very accurate so our expectations were set appropriately. The dog-friendly neighborhood was perfect for our daily walks. The unit has bathrooms on the 1st and 3rd floors which is a tad inconvenient when hanging out in the kitchen and main family room that are located on the 2nd floor. We found the primary suite to be quite comfortable, including the bed. While in the area we had wonderful dining experiences at Little Coyote (fabulous brisket) and Alleia (pasta and the halibut). We also walked to Han-Mi for a late dinner upon arrival and enjoyed their Korean chicken. We spent one day exploring Lookout Mtn (Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls with a great lunch at Massey's Kitchen) and one day exploring the city. Unfortunately, the Walnut St pedestrian bridge is closed for 2 yrs for renovations. The unit provided everything we needed and we would stay there again. We always appreciate nice pet-friendly homes!
