Waterfront Home! Relax & Enjoy the Serenity of Lake Palestine.

Enjoy the beauty of Lake Palestine from the large wrap around deck overlooking the water. The open concept floor plan assures a great view of the lake from inside of the house. Our home is furnished with comfort in mind, so you can unwind and leave your cares behind. Plenty of outdoor seating for entertaining, along with a fire pit to make the perfect smores. The boat ramp is just a few houses down on the same street!
Come enjoy nature and the peaceful surroundings of Lake Palestine. We have 2 kayaks available for guest to use! Truly a perfect escape for the weekend or the week. The house is just steps away from the boat dock. The dock is furnished with seating on the deck for tanning, or simply relaxing overlooking the beautiful view. Great location for fishing, swimming, kayaking, jet skiing, and boating! Enjoy excellent fishing right from the dock!


Master bedroom has a king size bed. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed. Room #3 has 4 twin beds (2-sets of bunk beds.) There is a futon that can sleep 2 in the living area.

Security cameras are outside of the home. The property has a security camera or recording device capable of recording or sending video, audio, or still images.

Great place to just go and enjoy the peace. The lake frontage was beautiful and the casual fishing from the shore was steady. The town had a couple of good restaurants and we enjoyed day trips to Edom and Ben Wheeler. The only suggestion I have is getting lighting on the dock and lakeside so it can be enjoyed into the night.

This was our second stay at this particular lakehouse and just had a great time. The house, the boat dock, and the veiw are wonderful. Reasonable price, not too far from DFW, but far enough to feel like you are away from it all.

We stayed here for a weekend fishing tournament and would definitely recommend. Great boat dock and location for fishing. Kitchen had everything we needed for grilling and cooking. Lots of seating outside. Great place!

Great location on the lake. Very relaxing and incredible view. Host was friendly and responsive. Home was close to town and near the event we traveled for. Will need to travel again during warmwr weather to enjoy the lake and amenities we did not get to take advantage of. Highly recommend.

Married 35 years to my husband, Gary. I'm a native Texan. I grew up in the country, spending most of my weekends on the lake fishing and camping with my family. Our children are grown now, so it's just us. We purchased the lake house to make memories and enjoy it with our children and grandchildren.
Newly purchased, Hideaway Cove is our second lake house, that's larger than our first lake home (Beachside Cottage). If you're looking for a lower priced rental, please check out Beachside Cottage on vrbo. I love that house!!! However, with more grandchildren coming along we needed a larger home to accommodate everyone.

Why they chose this property

This property has great water views and is located in a calm area of the lake. Which makes it ideal for watersports and fishing too. The house sits high and you feel like you are right on the water when you look out. It truly has amazing views.
