Welcome to SandGate Oregon located in Lincoln City! This breathtaking, 2 story oceanfront coastal cottage offers room for up to thirteen guests, with four bedrooms and two baths. Step inside and get ready to relax in comfort and style.

The living room offers an X-Box with unlimited access, and plenty of space to sit around the fireplace with your loved ones and enjoy a movie on a large screen smart TV before heading up to bed. The kitchen has everything you'll need to whip up a homemade meal during your stay with up-to-date appliances and plenty of counter space. The bedroom on the main floor has a comfortable king with a large screen smart TV. Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms, two queens with large screen smart TVs and one bedroom with a full size bunk and a twin bed, with a second story deck looking out over the ocean. There are two bathrooms for you and your family to get ready in - one offers a walk-in shower, while the other has a shower/tub combo. Head outside and find your own personal hot tub, along with plenty of yard space and private beach access with only a few stairs to the sand! You can't get any closer to the Pacific than this!

Along with beach access, you'll also be a short walk or drive from the Chinook Winds Casino where you can catch a show, play a round of cards, or head to the buffet. The Mist is a delicious seafood restaurant located just a minute's walk from this home. You'll also find plenty of shops to check out while staying in Lincoln City, all located along Highway 101. Great location. Literally right off the beach. The view was just amazing. I think the best thing here was the little things, an extra high chair, white noise machine in the bunk bed room, soooo many beach towels, a lot of board games, etc. Don’t get me wrong, some things could have been a little better; a more thorough cleaning in the bathrooms and blankets smelled a little weird (plenty of extras though). However, we will be back. It was perfect for our family!

Another GREAT November beach trip!

The view and beach access are wonderful. The house is funky, but fabulous; perfect vibe for what we were looking for! Check-in and response of property manager were stellar! Could use a few more instructions around the house on how to operate some of amenities (i.e. smart tv remotes and upstairs shower). Fun was had by alll! We will definitely be back!

Awesome house

We spent a weekend for a family friendly 21st birthday party and this house was the perfect place to stay. The house itself had all the amenities you needed to be at the coast for a weekend equipped with kites, beach chairs, sandcastle buckets, a BBQ, and the perfect location and view of the beach, also within walking distance to the casino. We will stay again in the future.

Great location

Being right on the beach was fantastic. A little older than I thought it would be, we had a hard time with the hot water in the main level bathroom and the parking is tricky. But it was clean and comfortable and….yep right on the beach.

Great Location

Annual Girls weekend at the beach. House was perfect for our group. Loved being right on the beach. Plenty of space in bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Only downside is parking. Description said 4 spaces and there are 3 very, very tight parking spaces.

Beautiful sunsets!

The property is gorgeous! Location, location, location! Owner communicates promptly if an issue arises (ours was a septic issue upon arrival). Thank goodness it was resolved promptly as we had a pretty large family gathering.

Nice place

The listing was a little dated but it was nice. It would have been helpful if we knew how many stairs there were to get into the house and also upstairs. We had a number of complaints. The view was amazing and the location was perfect for day trips or just shopping. I would recommend this place.

Not up to standard

While there are some upgrades and view is great the rest falls apart. Major dust on stairs- hot water system totally inadequate- kitchen cabinet door falling off - inside kitchen drawers had stuck on dryer food. Door handle and front door have out lived their life. Lock box by front door does not work and after 15 minutes of trying another lock box was found in another location. Walls in down stairs bathroom are grungy and needs cleaning and shower door. Baking dish had big broken chunk which was an accident waiting to happen and other kitchen trays had melted edges. Kitchen is supplied with odds and ends crap. Dinning room table top warped and finish warn thru . While the view is great the house experience falls very short.

Family vacation (wonderful)

We are on a visit-all-50 states mission and needed to hit Oregon. This trip included me and my husband, our adult kids and grandkids (ages 14-18months). We are from Missouri. This beach house created a great memory for us! Early morning coffees were nice outside. The wind came in with the tide in the afternoons and usually chilled it down. We did have a couple nice clear days with a beautiful sunset. The hot tub was really nice in the evening. We walked north from the house on the beach (about 10 min) during morning low tide and saw tide pools with beautiful starfish, anemones, crab, sea life. We also flew kites, saw whales and seals from our yard chairs through binoculars, ate smores in the beach bonfire pit. The 15ish steps down to the beach made it just far enough away for our younger grandkids to not run off yet not too far to "head back out" to the sand. The pool table room and card games were great for the too-chilly parts of the day to be outside. We mainly made our meals at the house but we did make it to Mo's Seafood and Chowder (great), Pig'n Pancake (good food but a little pricey), and the Pelican Brewery. The kids never got tired of the sand yet there was plenty of local things to do as well. We hiked at the 3 mile Drift Creek Falls, The 3m Knoll, and 5 mile Cascade Head. Found some great deals at the Outlet stores. The proclaimed living room futon/sofa sleeper was horrible and needs replaced. Our teen, however, slept on the sectional couch with no complaints.

Beachfront fun

Second trip at Sandgate will definitely be more vacations spent at this property, would have liked hot tub to be working, but could not set up same schedule time with maintenance as we were enjoying the beach..... just a heads up garbage day is on Tuesdays 😊

Great stay, great location

We had such a wonderful time. A few families met here and loved being able to watch kids on the beach from the house. Adirondacks on the front lawn were perfect for sunset viewing. Owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

House was just a few steps out the backdoor to the sand. Kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lots of sand toys, chairs, and indoor and outdoor games available. 4 parking spots. Of course the views were unbelievable!!!!!

Better Maintenance

Tub and sinks where very slow, gate top hinge needs to be tightened so it will latch and not swing into car. One of the slates in the fence when you go done stairs has no screw in bottom, I think this makes for a liability if someone used it when walking down stairs.

The house was great. Loved being right on the beach. would definitely recommend this property. We did have trouble with the hot tub settings. Never could get any bubbles in the hot tub. We also had to clean the BBQ grill before we could use it. It looked like it had not been cleaned after the last couple uses.

Perfect location for a perfect visit

We loved this property. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the house was inviting and had lots of character, and the view was unbeatable.

Beautiful View

This was such an awesome experience. The view can’t get any better. It is stocked up with everything you could possibly need for the beach. It is a perfect family getaway house, we had ages ranging from 3 - 83. I would highly recommend this stay, we will visit again.

Excellent beach access

Our stay at this property was a lot of fun. We were scheduled in June but unforeseen circumstances beyond my control we had to reschedule, Thank goodness there was an opening over Labor Day weekend. The property was beautiful and the beach access was even better. Our grandkids were able to just go through the gate down a staircase and play in the sand. The Weather was amazing. My only complaint is that the parking situation is very tight. I would highly recommend this property .

Great time

Couldn’t have been a better location. The house was great. Had my parents , grandma, two toddlers and myself and husband. Plenty of space for all of us. Had two washers and dryers.. literally 12 steps down the stairs and we were right on the beach. The casino is about a 5 minute walk. Close to shops, parks and food. Safeway is right around the corner. Only cons were the picture make it look like the hot tub is facing the ocean… false. Hot tub ie right down the steps to the house and kind of in front of the house with a peek of a view to the beach. It was fine but it was right outside of my parents room downstairs not like I thought it was on the back side of the house. We only used it once but really liked the idea of a hot tub. The door knobs are crazy. I liked them but I hated them. It freaked my kid out cause he couldn’t get out of his room. Freaked me out a bit too when I first used the restroom lol. They are cool but they are not meant for kids. I can seriously see them getting stuck. The top balcony is AMAZING. Once everyone was in bed my husband and I used it to have some drinks and star gaze. The house is all around super cool. I didn’t like how they had a… please do these things for cleaning.. we paid a cleaning fee and left the house in really good shape. No pets allowed Beach was great Location was great I would buy this house if I could lol. We will use it again.

Morris family get together

Fantastic location, awesome beach. The house was very charming. Grill was not cleaned by previous guests, it was disgusting! Back yard hasn't been maintained in weeks! All in all it was a perfect location for our get together.
