Lovely house in a lovely area with a lovely host !! Everything was perfect. Beautiful swimming-pool in the tiny village of Fosse. Kate is really nice ! A very quiet homestay as expected.
We Really had a Great Time in Kaltes's gite. Sitting on the terrace and watching the scenery was great. Many things to do around.

Beautiful family run gite in lovely setting
Stayed here for two weeks with our two daughters. A warm welcome from Kate on our arrival and their girls quickly made our girls feel very welcome, spending lots of time playing together. All the gite facilities were exactly as described, very clean and presentable. The beautiful setting, the river, etc was great for the children to play in. The village swimming pool (free) was great, convenient and lots of fun. The Nuth family were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. They invited us to things going on locally, gave good recommendations about places to visit and provided us with a great base for exploring the mountains, Carcassonne, the market at Esperaza, many lovely gorges and of course the beach at Torreilles. We had a great holiday and would recommend this gite to others as an excellent place to stay.

Best Holidays ever - let´s get back there
Starting in GoG (Good old Germany) we arrived with our 4 kids about two hours late, because of "Black Saturday" which is french organized traffic jam. However leaving the rain heading for the sun paid back. The house is nicely refurbished and located on really beautiful grounds, including river, waterfall, little lake, nice flora and of course Jess (Golden Retriever) as well as two cats. This is the most beautiful adventure playground for kids we have ever come across. The swimming pool nearby is a real good option for cooling down after hiking trips or sight seeing tours, it is for free which is even better, however consider the rules (no bermudas).
We encountered a well organised and well managed propoerty and really appreciate the hospitality of the owners. Customer engagement and interaction cannot be better, for every question there was a quick and easy answer, it felt like being home, there was nothing we felt missing (until we left).
Would we recommend this appartment to friends? Secrets should be kept secret, in order to have the option to come back,....just kidding....of course we will recommend...
Besides all the good points for this home, there is one major painpoint:
Holiday period will always be too short...

Beautifully presented, in keeping with the traditional rustic setting. Clean and well equipped accommodation set in stunning surroundings. An ideal location for relaxing or as a base to explore the many stunning sites and numerous activities by car. So much to see and do including free access to the well maintained village pool only a five minute walk away. Fantastic as a relaxing break or a fun filled family getaway. A friendly welcome and excellent hosts, always willing to offer advice or guidance to make your holiday memorable.
