Lovely spot

Located mid way between Arromanches and Asnelles over looking Gold beach. A short walk to either. Good routes for cycling, as we did, but there are a couple of decent hills either direction. Plenty if beach activities to keep all entertained. Now home and missing waking up to the sound of the sea and overlooking the beach.

Best Place ever on the Normandy coast

Loved this place. It was ideally located next to Arromanche. Sweet little house with well stocked kitchens and great amenities. Great view of the English Channel and Asnelles down the coast. East to get to very walkable beach. Would very much like to come back for another visit!

Wonderful stay in Normandy

This is an ideal spot if you want to explore Normandy. You are literally at Arromanches (Gold Beach). From here, we did easy day trips to Mont Saint Michele, Omaha, and Utah Beaches, Bayeux, Courseulles-sur-Mer, and Caen. Lots of great restaurants close by. Fresh local oysters were my favorite. The hosts are wonderful and friendly people. They went out of their way to help us when asked. We hope to return some day. Highly recommend!

Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen, erholsamen Urlaub. Das Haus ist sehr schön, ruhig, sauber, gut eingerichtet mit einer wundervollen Aussicht auf das Meer. Hier kann man sehr schön die Gezeiten beobachten. Beim geöffneten Fenster kann man sogar das Meer hören. Der Strand ist sehr nah und fußläufig in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Die Gegend bietet von der Natur und geschichtlich sehr viel. Von endlosen Spaziergängen am Strand (bei Ebbe), Befestigungsanlagen mit Artilleriegeschützen, diverser Bunker, Museen und Ausstellungen gibt es viel über den 2. Weltkrieg und die Invasion durch die Alliierten in der Normandie zu sehen. Auch im Landesinnern z.B. Bayeux gibt es eine schöne Altstadt mit einer schönen Kathedrale. Wer Austern liebt, sollte unbedingt den Automaten in Asnelles ausprobieren. Dort gibt es ganz frische Austern (relativ günstig) zum Verkauf (mit Kreditkarte). Kein Vergleich zum Supermarktkauf. Die Austern selber werden direkt hinter der Stadt im Meer gezüchtet. Die riesigen Austernfelder können bei Ebbe beim Spaziergang am Meer gesehen werden. Entlang der Küste Im Meer selbst sind noch viele Senkkästen aus dem 2. Weltkrieg zu sehen, die man bei Ebbe ganz von nah sehen kann. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, höflich und hilfsbereit. Bei Fragen wurde immer sofort geholfen. Die Kontaktaufnahme und Konversation lief problemlos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wollten eigentlich noch länger beiben.Wir vergeben 10 von 10 Sternen. Alles war perfekt und kommen gerne wieder

La maisonette est à quelques mètres de la maison de notre hôte. Vue mer depuis la véranda exceptionnelle, la maisonnette est située sur une butte et domine la mer. Nos hôtes sont toujours à notre disposition en cas de besoin. L'endroit est idéal pour visiter les plages du débarquement. L'équipement général est parfait. Que dire de plus ?

Accueil très agréable à l’arrivée, quelques explications utiles pour le fonctionnement du gîte. Le séjour était parfait ! Wir hatten einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen Chalet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Das Chalet hat eine sehr gute Lage, man ist schnell am ausgedehnten Strand. Im Nachbarort,Asnelles, gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt. Im anderen Nachbarort, Arromanches, findet man viele gute Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Das Chalet ist sehr liebevoll ausgestattet und es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Erkundungen.Die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten in und um das Chalet bieten viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholen.Das Chalet kann man uneingeschränkt empfehlen.Wir möchten uns noch einmal ausdrücklich bei Joelle und Bernard bedanken.

Sehr gemütliches Häuschen mit umwerfendem Blick!

Wir fühlten uns von den Vermietern sofort herzlich aufgenommen. Trotz unserer unzureichenden französisch Kenntnisse gab es keine Probleme. Es war ein Genuss im Wintergarten auf das Meer( und die Reste des künstlichen Hafens) zu schauen. Man ist durch eine Türe in ein paar Schritten am Strand. Das kleine Haus ist perfekt mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünscht. Jeder Winkel ist sinnvoll genutzt. Bernard und Joelle haben inzwischen neben dem Häuschen ein eigenes gebaut, was die Privatsphäre nicht beeinträchtigt. Deshalb sieht es etwas anders aus, als auf den Fotos. Die sehr zentrale Lage bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge, wenn man sich von Wintergarten und Strand losreißen kann ;0) Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder! À bientôt !!!

Tolles Ferienhaus

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Das Haus ist sauber und alles was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt ist vorhanden. Im Haus (z.B. Sehr freundliche Vermieter

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt und insbesondere die tolle Aussicht über den Strand sehr genossen. Im Haus ist alles, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt und Berhard hat uns sogar noch einen Sonnenschirm und ein Boulespiel für den Strand ausgeliehen. Besonders loben möchten wir die Ehrlichkeit und Freundlichkeit des Vermieters: Uns wurde via fewo-direkt/vrbro zu viel berechnet und er hat sich zügig darum gekümmert!!! Sensationell Wir kommen sicher noch einmal wieder!

Das Chalet liegt wunderbar. Super Blick auf den Strand/Meer. Hier kann man wunderbar bei einem Glas Wein auf der Terrasse entspannen. Das Chalet bietet ausreichend Platz für alle. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Bernard und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt am Meer

Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und nicht aufdringlich aber hilfsbereit. Wir haben die 2 Wochen in der Normandie sehr genießen können! Kleine feine Ferienwohnung perfekt für uns zwei, da wir im Herbst dort waren, konnten wir die Aussenfläche nicht sehr nutzen. Daher perfekt für zwei.

Tolles Ferienhaus in der Normandie

Ein super schönes kleines Ferienhaus mit einen Traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Wir waren 12 Tage in diesem schönen Haus. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht um Glücklich zu sein. Wir haben den Ausblick von der großen Terrasse sehr genossen. Besonders schön ist auch das man vom Schlafzimmer aus auch direkt auf das Meer sehen kann. Man ist schnell am Strand. Die Gegend ist super schön und man kann viele Ausflüge machen. Die Vermieter Joëlle und Bernard" sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können dieses Haus sehr Empfehlen Une petite maison de vacances super sympa avec une vue fantastique sur la mer. Nous avons séjourné dans cette belle maison pendant 12 jours. La maison est équipée de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour être heureux. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la vue depuis la grande terrasse. Il est particulièrement agréable de voir la mer directement depuis la chambre. Vous êtes rapide sur la plage. La région est super sympa et vous pouvez faire de nombreuses excursions. Les propriétaires Joëlle et Bernard" sont super gentils et serviables. Nous pouvons fortement recommander cette maison
