This modern beach house is located on a bluff where the beach meets a rocky shore, providing spectacular views and direct beach access. From the moment you enter The Reef House you will be mesmerized by the views of the Exuma blue water and enchanting cays in the distance. The organic interior, comfortable living spaces, and outstanding amenities—including a pool, hot tub, and three outdoor showers—create the ideal vacation rental for families, groups of friends, and destination wedding guests. Every bedroom enjoys awesome ocean views! With it's open-floor plan, The Reef House is perfect for entertaining or relaxing when you need a break from all the fun and sun Exuma has to offer. Kayaks and paddleboards included to explore the scenic surroundings.

Property Managers will meet you at airport upon arrival and escort you back to house, stopping for provisions along way if interested.

Fly into Georgetown, Bahamas airport (GGT), 40 min drive to house.

Minimum stay: 5 nights except stays which include US holidays where a 7 night minimum is required. Stays including Christmas Eve/Day have a 10 night minimum.

Amazing Time

We stayed at this property for our wedding week in the Bahamas. This home is more beautiful than advertised. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. The week was just perfect and you never need to leave the beach or house. Obviously the island is gorgeous and you should explore but you would have an amazing time not doing so as well. We hope to be back in the future and will absolutely consider staying here again.

Incredible Vacation Spot

The Reef House is breathtakingly beautiful. Our family had an incredible week at this home in Exuma. My kids have already stated that it will be hard to top this vacation! Loved everything about the Reef House and Exuma. We will be back again for sure.

Paradise!! Will be back

This was the most amazing trip, house, experience, and the people are what made it! A tropical paradise with calm waters and private beach, house was perfect (2 families each with young kids), but Tina and Theo are what made this trip! We also had a private dinner by Chef Mackey. This is our third time to Exuma and we will be back AND STAYING AT REEF HOUSE!

A piece of paradise

The Reef House is simply a piece of paradise. Everything was perfect; the accommodations, the pool, the beach, etc. We were a group of 4 couples and didn’t want to leave the house during our entire stay. Tina and her crew did a fantastic job hosting us. Everything was perfect. Book with confidence, this place is better than what the photos show.

The Reef House Exceeds All Expectations

We had really high expectations - all were blown away. From great comms / info from the owners, great support from the property managers (Tina and Theo), the property itself, the location, etc. I could go on and on - in short, you will not regret this property. And, as a bonus, if you are at this house you get priority with Theo for boat tours - that is an absolute must too! We hope to be back soon. We loved the Reef House!

Absolutely beautiful

The house was better than the pictures! Every room has an ocean view with its own bathroom. It has 2 master bedrooms with worked perfectly for our group. The beach access CANNOT be beat. You are literally steps to the most inviting ocean. Each room has its own air conditioning which was very much appreciated. The trio is basically the house and the view! It’s best to buy your own food, the food at the restaurants is expensive and not that good so buy your own food. They have everything you need to cook at home. The property is very well maintained. Totally worth it.

I almost want to keep it a secret

I am conflicted. I love the Reef house and want to talk about how kind and awesome the owners and Theo (the house manager are) but I also know it is the best kept secret. this place is truly amazing and I think that deep down the owners and Theo really truly care and want everyone to love it as much as they do.

Paradise perfection

The property was perfect! Tina met us at the airport, followed us to the grocery & liquor store. Got us settled and for the next week we enjoyed! Highly recommend using Theo for the boat rental, his son TJ and Captain Greg were amazing guides and gave us so much Bahamian history. We loved Chef Mackey for our catered dinner. Everything you need is at the house. And the private beach is unbelievable!! Highly recommend and will definitely return! Thank you from The 8 is great crew!

What a Great House!

We have rented several homes over the years, and this one was the best so far. It was absolutely perfect. It started with the great communication from Cathy and Rick, quickly responding to every question we had.Next came the team of Tina and Theo to take care of us once we got there. Tina met us at the airport and escorted us to the house, allowing us to pick up groceries and alcohol along the way. Then she gave us an excellent tour of the house. We had a little problem with the pool, but Theo was there quickly and took care of it. There were a couple short power outages, and it was great to have a generator to keep the AC on while all the other houses were dark.The location is incredible. So many shades of blue! The pool was great, the ocean was great, and the house was in excellent condition. Not only that, but it is filled with beautiful art and high quality furnishings and fixtures. This continued to the outdoor spaces as well. It had everything we needed for our DIY vacation.It is not close to George Town or anything else, which is exactly what we wanted. There was a handy convenience store (E & E) literally 200 steps away that has most of the staples you might need. No perishable foods, but canned foods and lots of toiletries and other supplies. Santanna's is just down the road for a good island meal and drinks, as well as Mom's Bakery next door.Thanks Rick and Cathy, for sharing your beautiful home with us! We hope to be back soon!

Wonderful family vacation!! Even with a cat 1 hurricane

We spent three wonderful weeks at the Reef house with our three children and had an unforgettable time. The house is perfect for families easy to live in with all the amenities you would want, Tina helped us with anything we needed for the house even finding the perfect birthday cake for my husband! Theo took us out on his boat for some of the most memorable adventures in the Exumas and made sure we were safe during the hurricane. The house is in a perfect location with a secluded view of the ocean and a beautiful beach for swimming, snorkeling or kayaking! Our kids had the best time playing on the beach and hunting for hermit crabs! Rick and Cathy were very accommodating and have an amazing property. We will definitely be back!

Stunning Property!!

The Reef House was perfect for our family vacation, and now our favorite Caribbean property! Beautifully decorated and well stocked, clean, comfortable beds, great pool, short walk to a semi-private beach, and those VIEWS...simply gorgeous! Rick and Cathy were really great to work with during the booking process and last minute questions. The Property Managers, Theo and Tina, were an added bonus. Such nice people and very responsive. We had no reason to leave except for groceries and our boat excursion (would definitely recommend booking with Theo and TJ). Chef Khriston prepared a birthday dinner for my son our last night and it was excellent! What a great way to kick off 2023! We look forward to visiting Exuma and this amazing property again!

Perfection

The Reef House is nothing short of vacation perfection. The owners and property managers were very informative, accommodating, and treated us like lifelong friends from the beginning of our inquiry all the way to after we checked out. The home itself feels very casual yet high end. Indoor and outdoor seating are very comfortable. The kitchen is adequately equipped. The infinity pool lived up to its name - it looked like it flowed right onto the harbor. The view from all the rooms looking out was exquisite. Outdoor shower and tub in the master is a nice touch. The owners had paradise in mind when they designed the home. Very well thought-out. Thank you Cathy for your personal call before we even left the US. Thank you Tina and Theo for making us feel very special. Things to do: book your boat adventures with no one else but Theo!! Our time with him was the icing on this vacation. He is full of knowledge, expertise, accommodating, entertaining. He is a great captain of his “school bus”. His first mate/son TJ was a joy to be around with. Tina, Theo, and TJ are Excellent ambassadors for Exuma. We also met their other family members by chance :-) - For COVID testing - we booked an appointment (not followed - first come first serve) with Di-Ara across from Peace and Plenty in George Town. Be there before 9am - we got there at 9:05 and we were done at 10:15! Rent Jeeps from Exuma Car rental at the airport. Go to Blu on the water for a meal. Explore the Exumas and stay at The Reef House! We will be back!

Breathtaking!

Our entire trip to Little Exuma was perfect! Theo (the property manager) met us at the Exuma International Airport. He is a very pleasant gentleman with a contagious smile. He walked us to our rental car and waited for us to fill out the paperwork. He explained to us, that the grocery arrives on Tuesdays and he recommended picking up groceries before driving to the house. What a life saver! We arrived on Thursday and by Friday the grocery stores had very few vegetables and fruit to pick from. Once we picked up our groceries we followed Theo to the house. From the minute we walked into the Reef house we felt relaxed. It felt unreal, almost like a dream. The view of the turquoise water from every room was breathtaking! The ceiling to floor sliding doors were ridiculously amazing!! The minute we woke up, we opened them up. The home was extremely clean and well organized. We ate almost every meal at the house because we didn’t want to leave. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook/grill. My husband and I loved the kayaks! We kayaked to the little island off the beach. I snorkeled and he speared. Lots of pretty fish to look at. We even saw lobsters! The first night we ate at Blu. It’s an elegant, but beachy restaurant with a view. The food had a lot of flavor, but like everything on the island it was a bit pricey. They recommend you make reservations. On day 4 we arranged a half day of reef fishing with Theo. He is a man of many skills! Within an hour we caught enough fish for dinner. We spent the remaining time snorkeling and hunting lobsters. My favorite part was seeing dolphins swim next to the boat! Before heading to the airport, we stopped at Club YOLO bar. They had amazing drinks, plus hammocks by the water! It was a great way to end this amazing trip. Without a doubt we will be back to the Reef House!

Beautiful property! The owners have thought of everything to make the stay relaxing. So glad we took advantage of getting our groceries picked up in advance. The dinner at Blu was incredible. Kayaking out to the islands was the highlight of our stay.

A Perfect Stay

The Reef House is truly outstanding! It has the prime position on this gorgeous, secluded beach with cooling trade winds that keep the pool deck area bug-free and perfect for afternoon naps. It earned every bit of the 5-star rating from the view, to the airport escort, to the quality of the house itself. Best house on the beach easily.
