Luxurious Lake Superior Estate with Outdoor Hot Tub

This luxurious Lake Superior retreat is the perfect base for enjoying all there is to do in beautiful Bayfield and a perfect launching point for exploring the Apostle Islands! Every detail of this home and grounds has been carefully designed to take advantage of sweeping views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands.

For larger groups, the adjacent guest house which sleeps 6 can be made available upon request. Please inquire for rates.

Featured in Landscape Magazine for "One of a Kind Landscape Design in the 5 Great Lakes Region", the property boasts a lakeside grotto reclaimed from the historic brownstone quarries of the 1880's.

*Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom and Lake Superior views.
*Four bedrooms walk out directly onto the lakeside decks.
* Kids love the bunk room directly off the lower level family room, with its two hand-hewn log bunk beds and futon- it's like being at camp (but with high end mattresses and bedding).
*Two spacious living areas, each complete with cozy fireplaces, allow room for everyone to stretch out and find space to visit, read, play games, watch movies, or nap by a roaring fire.
*A fully equipped open plan kitchen allows you to cook while staying connected to friends and family in the main level family room.
*Take a soak in the outdoor hot tub, enjoy your morning coffee or an evening stroll with a glass of wine through professionally designed gardens, ponds, and bridges throughout the 8-acre estate, or relax on the huge deck with beautiful views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands.
*Fast 1 GB symmetrical service WiFi allows you to work remotely (if you must).
*Two outdoor grills and table seating for 12 make outdoor dining for your group a breeze.
*Two firepits overlooking the lake.

One of our favorite things to do is roast s’mores by a lakeside bonfire at the grotto. The shoreline is rocky and perfect for watching the crashing waves, but not suitable for swimming. However there is a great beach just a few miles down the road.

A local caretaker is available to answer any questions you have about the property, or provide recommendations for local attractions. Bayfield is known for a variety of outdoor activities and water sports as well as orchards, berry farms, wineries, and outdoor theater. Beautiful home located on lake with great accommodations. Only issue-which is minor-home is a little tech heavy. We did enjoy our stay. Home was very clean, kitchen well stocked, roomy bedrooms and living/gathering areas.

Beautiful property!

Our group had 2 families; 4 adults and 5 kids. We all had a wonderful time. Lots of space both indoors and out. The kiddos loved the bunk room. Beautiful view of the lake and easy access to Bayfield. We hope to return someday.

Excellent for a family Anniversary celebration

We celebrated my parents 65th wedding anniversary and this home was perfect for our family. We loved the outdoor space and the gardens and views of Lake Superior were spectacular. At the end of the day we enjoyed the hot tub and bonfires. Check-in was easy and Deanne was extremely responsive and helpful with the questions we had. I highly recommend and we would love to come back again next time we are in the Bayfield area.

Spectacular view of Lake Superior from many rooms and porch. Spacious, peaceful grounds to walk around home, and down to shoreline. Comfortable accommodations! Autumn Splendor

Beautiful house and landscaping and amazing views of Lake Superior made our visit to Bayfield a wonderful vacation for my 3 chidren and their families, 14 in total. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub, especially after they took a dip in the lake. Location was great with easy access to the activities in the area. Host and caretaker were excellent work with.

Beautiful Bayfield Escape

This property was just perfect for our family vacation! It was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The host even had a lovely bouquet of flowers waiting for us upon our arrival. The location was great for exploring all the area has to offer. The hot tub provided a great way to unwind after a day of kayaking, hiking, or sightseeing. I highly recommend this property and host! Our whole family agreed we would love to come back soon for another relaxing stay!
