I rate our stay a 10! The hospitality, amenities, decor, and peaceful space are perfect. The hostess answered questions responsively, and it was great to have our own place for meals and to relax in the evening. The House on the Trail was a big factor in making our Spring break ski getaway a win.
This home was wonderful. Very comfortable and great location near cross country ski trails. We enjoyed the sauna. The host was responsive and the home had everything we needed. We'll be back!
House is so warm and welcoming! Everything you need and the host is absolutely amazing. We had 30inches of snow and she made sure we were plowed out. Super easy to communicate with. This is our 2nd stay and won’t be our last.
Had a wonderful stay at this lovely house again in Ironwood! The hospitality, accommodations and location can’t be beat. We are so appreciative for all of it!
Very clean, great central location for getting to all the hiking we wanted to do, nice amenities, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood. Nicely remodeled home.

About the host
Hosted by Michelle Cruz
We Currently live in AZ but I grew up in Ironwood and have family and friends in the area. We make frequent trips back and forth.
Why they chose this property
We had been looking in the area for over a year for a small home to use when visiting family in Ironwood. We immediately fell in love with this little house. It had been in the same family since 1910 and the care and pride of ownership through the years was so evident. It was a bit outdated with loads of dark paneling, low ceilings, and even vintage gold carpeting! but it definitely had 'good bones' . This happy little house just needed a well deserved facelift. We're so pleased with the results and hope you enjoy just as much as we do!
What makes this property unique
A restored space Mostly new but kept several items inc the antique stove from the original owners Remote feel yet conveniently located to everything the area has to offer! Mining Community with eclectic neighborhoods... no HOA's here Sturdy basement(hard to find in older homes) with room to build the sauna/shower, plenty of storage room and washer & dryers Large 3 season front porch and back patio for add'l space Cozy and comfortable feel
