About this property
Atypical family village house 8-10 people
Atypical building without vis-à-vis 120m2 ideally located 15 minutes from Nîmes and Pont du Gard, 30 minutes from Avignon and 45 minutes from the sea, allowing both to discover the Roman architecture present in our region but also to explore the hinterland with its rivers and scrubland.
You can also combine the 2 by descending, for example, the gardon in a canoe from Collias (10 min from the house) to arrive under the Pont du Gard.
Located in a small peaceful village typical of the Gard of 2500 inhabitants, it has a tobacconist, 2 bakeries, a mini-market, a pharmacy and a florist, all 3 minutes on foot of the House.
The house consists of a ground floor and a floor.
You will find on the ground floor a spacious living room with 2 convertible sofas and a TV, a large fitted kitchen, a utility room and the main bathroom with WC.
Upstairs are the 4 bedrooms (2x2 in a row), 2 small (9m2) and 2 large (15m2) each equipped with a TV, with an extra bathroom in one of the large bedrooms and a Separate WC.
The rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
The 180m2 exterior is adorned with a pétanque court, an above-ground swimming pool (2mx4mx1m20), an inflatable Spa for 4 people with 5-color LEDs and a barbecue.
You can enjoy the terrace with its table for 10 people, sheltered by a pergola finally to stay cool.
A vine and a small vegetable patch with aromatic plants from the region will complete this decor.
You can also park 2 cars in the courtyard.
The house is located in a dead end, without vis-à-vis, in a calm and serene atmosphere.
Gard in summer is very festive with its votive festivals specific to each village. You will find games for children, pétanque contests, fireworks, bullfighting events (abrivado, encierro, Toro swimming pool ...) and of course music and drinks for lively evenings. There is no doubt that whatever your booking period you will find such events nearby.
During the day, in addition to the swimming pool, you can go refresh yourself at the river which is 15 minutes by car. You will discover rocks for diving, rentals of canoes and kayaks allowing you to go to Pont du Gard or simply laze on the pebble beaches by the water.
If you prefer sandy beaches, the sea is 45 minutes away with access to the motorway near the house (5 minutes). You can spend the day in cities like La Grande Motte or Grau du Roi with their secure beaches and their city centers littered with restaurants, ice cream shops and other shops.
Finally, it is impossible to get to the region without visiting the numerous and majestic Roman monuments, from the arenas of Nîmes to the Pont du Gard to name the best known.
You can also stroll through the fountain gardens or stroll through the alleys of the city center.
I remain at your disposal if you wish more details.
