Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday routines to old Florida. Peace and tranquility on the
Steinhatchee River. Launch your boat at River Haven Marina and dock it in front of the house, in
deep water, outside of the boat house. The Gulf of Mexico is approximately 4 miles from the house
by water. Enjoy the scenery of the river, go scalloping (in season), or fishing. A boat trip on the
Steinhatchee River is beautiful, serene, and peaceful.
We are located on SR 51. The Google map is approximate of location. We are not located by The Sea Hag Marina.

Do not track mud in the house. The elevator is not for tenants use. Use of dock at your own risk. no swimming from the dock or property allowed.
Supplies in the laundry room are not for tenants' use and will be charged to your bill. No cooking or grills on deck
Any property broken or damaged will be charged to your account. The boathouse dock is for tie up. The floating docks do not belong to this property.

This home was great! The house was so cozy, and we loved the dock area. The ride to the Gulf was about 40 minutes, but it was a beautiful ride. The hosts were very responsive, and we would love to stay here again.

Overall, great place to stay. Boat ride time to sea hag was 29 minutes. Wish it had a grill outside but we made due with the kitchen. Thank you again and will definitely be saved in my favorites!

Nice and quiet place it was a little far to the gulf. The property manager was very helpful with any questions I had and very quick to call or text me back. Thanks again we sure did enjoy our stay.

Our family had a wonderful time staying and scalloping in Steinhatchee. We loved watching the occasional boat go by and taking in the scenic view of the river. It was a comfortable stay and it suited our family of four well.

Love home on the river

We came to Steinhatchee for scalloping season and stayed at “The Hatch”. The location was great. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook scallops after a long day on the boat. We were also able to tie our rental boat to the dock, which made scalloping and fishing easy. The rental had everything we needed except there was no WiFi or internet available.

Great Secluded Stay

Can't say enough about how much we loved this house. It was very comfortable after a long day on the water. The dock kept the kid entertained and we really enjoyed the kitchen when we cooked at home. The owner and the house keeper were very responsive and we had everything we needed. For first time visitors like us, I would definitely recommend renting a slip at one of the marinas like we did. Other boaters told me it was a 45 minute ride to the house by boat in a no wake zone. We kept our boat at the Steinhatchee Marina, which we loved and was only a 2-3 minute golf cart ride.

We loved our trip to Steinhatchee, but the air was not working properly. It was hot inside the home. The owner was not able to fix the problem with the air and did not offer any reimbursements.

River front gem!

This house is beautifully set among the trees at the end of a quiet road on the river. The house is clean and comfortable and has all of the necessities. The owners and host respond quickly to messages and are very helpful and friendly. Our stay was wonderfully relaxing and the house had everything we needed.
