Paso Robles - you fid not disappoint!
A friend of mine and I from So Cal met up in Paso with my cousin and her friend who live in Nor Cal for a 3 day stay. Having been there once before, I knew staying near downtown would be a ideal base camp for us.The home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect size. It was a little far to walk if you do any shopping in town and have wine or other goods to carry. Not quite as walkable as I had hoped but an easy 3 minute drive right down 12th St gets you into the town square. Nice neighborhood to go out for a stroll. It was cold and drizzly most of the time we were there so we did not use the pool. There is no jacuzzi, FYI.We ate nearly all meals at restaurants but kitchen is nicely stocked with cookware and utensils if you’re cooking at the house.Jordan was easy to communicate with and responsive. There aren’t dressers or chests of drawers so clothing needs to be kept on hangers or in your suitcase. We asked for additional hangers, which Jordan delivered, because we had brought lots of “layers” for the warmish days (60s) and cold nights (40s).We really enjoyed going to the Sensorio Field of Lights, hit several wineries and tasting rooms. Cute downtown with lots of good restaurant options. We really liked Stokehouse Grill, Alchemists Garden and In Bloom.
