We just want to get away for a couple of days. It was last minute This house is well stocked and very clean. We had a good time super close to the beach.

A fun and pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful experience staying in this house. Everything was as listed and it even had toys and other entertainment inside and outside. Communication with the host was good and the house was nice and clean. Outside area was pleasant with plenty of sitting areas. We will come back!

Kids oasis!

The property was just as advertised!! The entire years and downstairs is equipped with so many fun things for the kids!! The beach was a short drive and the house was CLEAN! No complaints and will for sure book again!!

Great stay for families!

We had an amazing time at this property! It was a last minute change in our stay due to the hurricane damaging the property we originally were supposed to stay at. We are so thankful we found "the blue house" as our 3 year old still refers to it 2 weeks later. Julie was so accommodating and we truly had everything we needed for our family there. They were so kind to get everything set up for us before ojr arrival and it felt like we wrre walking into our home when we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Home

Our family of five travelled to Galveston Island for a week of beach time and seclusion. This property offered us exactly that. We were able to get away from the busiest parts of Galveston and focus our attention on beach time, fishing, and kayaking, all while being close enough to downtown Galveston. This home was very well kept and new, and it worked well for our three kids. Mike and Julie were super helpful and welcoming, and the kayaking adventure was an added bonus. Overall, I highly recommend this home!

Great location and very clean- perfect retreat when COVID rates high

This is a great relatively new home with many upgraded features. I loved the large bath, very large shower, and farmhouse sink. The kids loved the TVs in every room. My husband read one of the books available on the shelf and I did the puzzle. The best part about our trip was the ease we felt when we arrived, as it was so clean. The owner does the cleaning and meets each renter when they arrive. I loved this rental, have recommended it to friends, and would come again.

Family Vacation 2023

We had a very warm welcome. Walked into the house with music playing on the TV and it smelled amazing and very clean. The house was exactly as advertised and conveniently located. Our family had a really good time. Our almost 3 yr old grandson loved the slide (he thought that was just the coolest thing) and the beach toys. This house had all the conveniences of home. The only suggestion I would have is to add blinds or curtains in the living room/dining room. With the summer sun bearing down that part of the house stayed really warm.

Fantastic house, will hopefully be back

My family really enjoyed our stay. The house is even nicer than the photos. Our kids loved features on the ground level and all the extra space to play on the property. We were super comfortable and had everything we needed. Only nitpick is having I wish there was a full sized blender instead of a personal sized blender, but it worked for Pina Coladas all the same :) It's in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space between homes. The quiet location is a catch-22, because access to quick food options are limited, and the smaller beach area did get quite crowded on the weekend. There is a beach across the main road which is too far to walk with kids, and I believe there is no parking at that site. We drove about 8 minutes to a drive up beach access spot that was practically empty on a Friday, but packed on the weekend, so plan accordingly and get out early if you're heading on during the busy season.

Loved our weekend getaway!

The house is situated in a nice, quiet subdivision on the bay side of the island. Farm property next door provides a serene view and is a great place to sit and watch the sunrise. Also enjoyed a gorgeous sunset from the little balcony in the bunk bedroom. Screened in porch was nice since the mosquitos were swarming from all the rain. House is clean and well appointed; beds are comfortable. Quick, easy drive to the beach and back. Good communication from the owners, and they worked with us to reschedule when I came down with COVID right before our originally scheduled dates. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great family time

We all enjoyed the whole stay. The kids stayed busy playing while the adults relaxed. It was close to the beach, quiet, and relaxing. A short drive to all the excitement on the Seawall. We hope to go back next summer!

Perfect stay!

Our group stayed at the place for a quick trip to Galveston and couldn't have been more pleased with the place. It is extremely clean and stocked with everything you may need to get off to a great stay. The place is really nice and the description is exactly what you'll find when you get there. What I would say really sets this place apart from the many other places we have rented over the years, is that it when you get there, it is setup like the hosts are expecting their friends or family. All the basics are there, from nice towels, to laundry detergent and coffee. I have never stayed at a rental that the needs of the guests were so thoughtfully anticipated. The hosts were very communicative and everything was easy. If you are looking at this place, don't think twice about booking, you'll be happy you did!

Beautiful House, but too far from the hustle and bustle.

I took my grandchildren to Galveston for Spring Break. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house is modern and new. The kids (teens) really enjoyed having bikes, balls, etc to play with. There were a few drawbacks. The couches need replacing; they almost have no cushion left. Also the kitchen could have had glass plates instead of plastic. (There were two available, I think) but we needed about six. Maybe it’s just me. I like using glass/ceramic during meals. Other than that, the house has everything you need. The location is a little far from the main tourist attractions. I would stay here again if my grandkids are with me.

Absolutely beautiful!

We fell in love with this home. It’s beautiful and extremely well kept 😊 Pictures do not do it enough justice. The owners definitely put a lot of thought into the little things to make your stay more comfortable. We will definitely be going back

Family Fun!

We had an amazing weekend away. Even though it rained most of the time, there was more than enough to keep all of us entertained. Our four kid’s ages range 6-11. They had a blast with the slide, swings and basketball goal. If it was dry, they would have played volleyball all day too! The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. The beds were comfortable and master shower was devine! We also enjoyed relaxing in the screened in porch. We look forward to returning when the sun is shining so we can enjoy beach also. The owner, Julie, is very responsive and keeps a beautiful, relaxing home.

Home away from home

This was a nice, quiet place to spend the New Year’s Eve with the whole family. Very clean and complete with everything we needed. We went on walks to the beach, enjoyed the sunsets on the bay on their bikes, grilled BBQ, watched movies. It really felt like home.

Perfect Get Away

We had such a great time! The house is so clean and the layout worked perfect for us. Our trip included my family (husband and two kids, 8 and 5) plus my dad. The kids loved the bunk beds, husband and I enjoyed the master bedroom and my dad slept in the guest bedroom with connecting bathroom. The owner was great and so easy to communicate with. The beach was so close and parking was free. We enjoyed our time at the beach, which had less people than further East. This was a great vacation stay and we highly recommend this house.

We all had fun!

No complaints here, everything was new, functional and very clean. We all had a good time despite a hurricane out in the Gulf. Julie was nice and very easy to deal with. I would stay here again for sure!
