The Bung - Waves of Fun!

Welcome to the Bung, come on in + stay awhile!

The Bung is in one of the best areas of Lubbock. You are a short walk to Texas Tech, restaurants and shopping. It's just minutes to the hospitals and entertainment, a 10-minute drive from the airport, and a short drive to Southwest Lubbock.

The Bung is a very clean and spacious, 1 bedroom, 1 bath Bungalow with beautiful Saltillo tile floors.

It is furnished with a retro and a coastal flair.

The bedroom has a king size bed with a comfy mattress and cozy bedding, plus a twin daybed. The closet has a single cot, plenty of hangers, suitcase rack, and a soft fluffy robe. The bathroom is spacious and is filled with soft, plush towels.

The living room has a soft leather couch and two swivel chairs.

There is a TV in both the living room and bedroom, so that you can watch your favorite Netflix show, Hulu, ESPN+, Disney+, etc...

The kitchen has an antique gas oven and refrigerator, and retro dining table. For the parents visiting their TTU student, you can fit four around the table. There are 4 chairs for the table and 2 bar stools at the bar top.

The back yard is perfect for enjoying life outdoors! There is a gas grill and fire pit, tables, multiple seating areas, and lounge chairs to soak up the sun. Cornhole boards, Darts and Horseshoes to enjoy…or have some friendly competition!

AMENITIES: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels and hair dryer are all on hand for your use as well as all the other usual amenities you would anticipate having in a hotel. Designated parking is available in front of the house.

Wonderful place

The Bung was everything we couldve asked for. Outdoor activities were a bonus and the coziness on the inside was perfect. The Bung was clean and close to everything. I will definitely stay here again, and recommend friends and family to stay here as well when traveling to the area.

Great property. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom dark and quiet- I never sleep as late as I did here. We cooked dinner and breakfast and had everything we needed! Outdoor set up couldn’t have been cuter. Beverly was available and nice to deal with. Highly recommend.

Great place in Lubbock

The Bing was a great place in Lubbock. We stayed in a 1 bedroom house with access to a shared patio. It was perfect for our needs. The outdoor space was excellent and the TVs were all set up with our favorite apps.

My name is Beverly Davis. I live in Lubbock, Texas with my husband, Tony, and daughter, Allison. As a mother, I saw the need for comfortable and inviting student accommodations. Every parent’s greatest joy is knowing that their child feels at home, even while away.
I have always had passion for kids, having worked as a Lifeguard, Summer Camp Counselor, and Pre-School Assistant. For over 18 years and running, I have worked for the local ABC and CBS News Stations, just 3 miles from one of my greatest passions - 21 Raider Alley.
After seeing the need for student housing in 2004, I decided to invest in Texas Tech rental homes. This gave me an opportunity to work with kids while solving every parent’s problem: offering affordable, secure and comfortable accommodations for their children - all while building a great investment for my own daughter!
After buying my first rental on 21st Street, I quickly realized what a great block it was and continued purchasing homes on the block over the next several years. In 2017, I began my mission to provide a home away from home for people traveling to Lubbock for work, pleasure or to visit their children. I decided to turn two of my homes into Airbnbs, and thus, The Bung and The Copacabana were born.

Perfect for a romantic getaway, play, work or Tech Events. The Bung is in the Heart of Lubbock. A short walk to Texas Tech, less than 2 miles from Covenant/UMC, and downtown. Close to night life on Broadway and the Depot District.

What makes this property unique

My mission is for all of my guest to have a memorable stay, and look forward to returning! I’ve tried to set myself apart with having a coastal feel and a backyard oasis!
