The Oltrarno – “Across the Arno” is the artisans' neighborhood, still packed with workshops where craftspeople hand-carve furniture and hand-stitch leather gloves. We spent a month in Kay’s nice apartment near the Ponte Vecchio. He made check-in easy and always answered our questions quickly. The area was perfect with a good supermarket nearby and an easy walk to many attractions. The apartment had a good washing machine and the kitchen was perfect for cooking our pasta. We loved it all.

Excellent stay in Florence

Property exactly as pictured/described. We stayed 3 nights, enjoyed the AC, made use of the convenient washing machine and slept well in the comfortable bed. Great location. As this is our preferred area to base in Florence, we would definitely stay again.

Great location!!

Overall we were very pleased with our stay & would return! The location couldn’t be in a better spot- it’s right in the middle of all the action and everything is no more than a 20 min walk! It was a little noisy but the streets got quiet at nighttime so we never had an issue with sleeping. The only small downfalls were that the apartment halls smelt like cigarette smoke (smelt fine inside apartment though) and it would have been nice to have 1 more roll of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels. Kay was SUPER responsive and helpful with any questions we had! Thanks for sharing your place with us, Kay!!
