Excellent home base for touring Florence

The studio apartment had everything we needed for a few days in Florence. Tiberio was super welcoming and had a wealth of knowledge to share about the city and neighborhood. The location was perfect as it was a 10-15 minute walk to the city center and a 1-2 minute walk to the lively Piazza Santa Croce. Even though it was close to everything, the apartment was plenty quiet at night.

Great studio apartment

Thank you Tiberio for giving us the opportunity to stay at your studio apartment in Santa croce. It was close to our school Michelangelo. And close to everywhere- ponte Vecchio, piazzale Michelangelo, and the duomo. There's heaps of decent affordable eateries around the place. The apartment itself is vey cozy and had everything we needed. The housekeepers who checked us in and out were very lovely and friendly. Thank you :) definately recommend it to anyone going to Florence.

Cute bachelor apartment

Very clean with gracious hosts. Safe neighbourhood with easy access to buses and walks to most of the monuments. Located on what we Canadians would call the second floor, it has views of the inner courtyard. At 5:55 pm the bells of the nearby church ring for a quaint few minutes. Several breakfast places very close and one of the best gelato places called Il Procopio is three blocks away. There is a very nice grocery store nearby. I had a very nice stay and Tiberio and his wife were very helpful.

This is a cozy apartment in a great location - only a block or two away from Santa Croce Cathedral and within a 10-15 minute walk to all the important sites in Florence. The neighborhood and building are quiet and peaceful with the exception of the beautiful sound of church bells at times during the day. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what you would need, although you will need to buy things like dish soap, sponges, napkins, etc. as those were not provided. While there are 2 burners for cooking, there is no oven or microwave. The water pressure in the shower was great which made up for the fact that the shower was extremely small (about 2.5 feet square) but this is common in Europe.Tiberio was friendly and helpful and met with me at check in to go over everything. He also provided an excellent guide book with important information and recommendations for restaurants, etc. I really appreciated having that and I wish more hosts would do the same.All in all, a good experience and I recommend Tiberio's apartment for a nice stay in Florence!

Ampio, luminoso e in pieno centro

Ho soggiornato in questo studio per 4 giorni con mio figlio di 7 anni e sono stata assolutamente soddisfatta. L'accoglienza della signora Franca è stata cordiale e di grande disponibilità, il propietario, Tiberio è arrivato poco dopo per verificare che tutto fosse in ordine. Il monolocale è grande e luminoso, pulito alla perfezione e il mobilio è in perfette condizioni, comodo il letto. È silenzioso nonostante sia nel cuore del quartiere con la vita notturna più interessante di Firenze, le finestre si affacciano su un giardino interno. Ristoranti, bar, minimarket sono dietro l'angolo. La posizione è perfetta per girare la città come turista, dista 100 passi da santa croce (potete contarli... io l'ho fatto!) e se si imbrocca la strada giusta ci si mettono appena 15 minuti ad arrivare in piazza del duomo passando per piazza della signoria. Sono abituata a girare con mio figlio e, superato l'ostacolo di qualche scala senza ascensore, anche logisticamente trovo non ci siano problemi. Consigliatissimo!!!

Nice stay in Florence

The property was as advertised and was clean and comfortable. On our arrival the housekeeper was there to let us in and show us the features of the apartment. She didn't speak any English, and we spoke little/no Italian, so it was a little challenging to communicate. However her welcome was warm and genuine and she was very sweet. Tiberio came by later in the day and answered all of our questions. We had to ask for dish and laundry soap and toilet paper but other than that the apartment was well equipped for our stay. It is very conveniently located for exploring Florence and there are many good restaurants close by. The supermarket was easy to find so we were able to stock up with food for breakfasts/snacks. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property for anyone wishing to explore Florence and the surrounding area.

Tolle Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die Ferienwohnung entsprach voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen! Durch die sehr zentrale Lage kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen und die Stadt erkunden. Die Wohnung war modern eigerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man alltäglich benötigt. Zudem gehen die Fenster zu einem Innenhof, sodass es trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig war! Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war hervorragend: Schnell, zuverlässig und alles hat wie vereinbart geklappt! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen :)

Sehr schöne Wohnung in super Lage

Die Wohnung ist ein Traum und sehr zu empfehlen für alle, die einen Besuch in Florenz planen. Da die Wohnung direkt in der Nähe der Santa Croce liegt, kann man alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen und braucht weder Auto noch Bus. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt in der Nachbarschaft. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, man hat alles, was man braucht. Für zwei Personen die optimale Größe. Die Küche ist gut sortiert und im Bad hat man sogar eine Waschmaschine; Bügelbrett etc sind auch da. Die Wohnung war in einem sehr guten Zustand, alles war sauber, alles direkt für uns vorbereitet und wir wurden direkt von der Kontaktperson im Haus freundlich empfangen. Der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter war schon im Vorfeld sehr nett. Er hatte uns vorab schon viele Informationen zu der Wohnung, der Umgebung und Tipps für Florenz geschickt. Am Abend der Anreise kam auch er zur Wohnungsübergabe vorbei. Alles in allem eine Wohnung, die wir jedem nur empfehlen können. WIr haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und werden die Wohnung auch bei Freunden weiterempfehlen und bei unserem nächsten Florenzbesuch mit Sicherheit wieder als Unterkunft buchen.

Simple, Efficient, Perfect for 1 or 2

The furnishings are simple but tasteful and efficient as noted in listing. The building has a wonderful history – ask Tiberio, your host. The window overlooks a court yard with a lovely magnolia tree right outside – this reduces noise we have experienced in other apartments. It is a great location, five to ten minute walk to the Duomo. We had no problem walking to the most popular sights, art galleries and of course restaurants and the gelato shop. As I enjoy shopping locate markets and cooking some meals, the Sant'Ambrogio market is close by and has stalls outdoors and indoors, selling pasta, meats, seafood and produce as well as household items and clothing. The compact kitchen had all I needed to cook just about anything. For eating out we really enjoyed Cibreo Teatro del Sale, a small theatre restaurant, with a buffet meal of as much food and red wine as you like, worth the 30 euros; (Note – initially you pay a membership fee of 7 euros and can return for breakfast, lunch or dinner) and La Ghiotta for good local food for a good price, served to you by friendly staff, who helps you understand the entirely Italian menu. In addition, we made several trips and purchases at the flea market at the Piazza del Ciompi, very close by. We would recommend this efficiency apartment for visitors who are more interested in seeing and experiencing the wonderful city of Florence rather than an elegant, expensive hotel, for a few days get-away or a longer visit such as ours – three weeks.

Die Küchennische enthält alles Notwendige, was man zum täglichen Kochen benötigt (jedoch kein Ofen, kein Wasserkocher vorhanden). Ankommen und Schlussabrechnung waren unkompliziert und wie vorab besprochen, Vermieter und Wohnungsverwalterin sehr freundlich. Einen günstigen, Montag bis Sonntag geöffneten Supermarkt („Conad“) findet man in direkter Nähe (gegenüber der Post). Die Wohnung ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt zur Besichtigung der Stadt und der Umgebung zu Fuß und mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung gerne weiter!

Wonderful location, and organized for easy stay.

This apartment, with a kitchen and good bathroom, is just a short 1.5 blocks from the Santa Croce church, and square with many fine restaurants. Next door is a small park used by people from the neighborhood, and a a few blocks away is a major outdoor produce and vintage clothes market and excellent bakery. We enjoyed our two stays very much.

perfekte Lage

Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos. Wir waren Ende März, anfang April da und es war außergewöhnlich kalt zu der Zeit. Typisch für Italien hat die Wohnung keine richtige Heizung, nur zwei elektrische Heizkörper. Wir konnten leider damit die Wohnung nicht warm kriegen (hohe Decke, für die Nacht zu laut und tagsüber waren wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs gewesen und wollten die Heizung natürlich nicht angeschaltet lassen). Auch der Fußboden war eisig kalt. Also wer nicht daran gewöhnt ist, soll unbedingt warme Socken oder vielleicht sogar Hausschuhe mitnehmen. Es könnte aber im Sommer gerade von Vorteil sein. Wenn man mit einem kleinen Kind und zu einer kalten Jahreszeit (wie wir) unterwegs ist, wäre es problematisch. Uns hat es nicht besonderes gestört. Die Küche ist mit allem nötigsten ausgestattet: Kühlschrank, Geschirr, Espressokocher, Töpfe und Pfannen (kein Backoffen). Ein Supermarket liegt paar Blocks entfernt und auch ein Markt ist in der Nähe.

Wohnung Florenz, Nähe Sta Croce, zentrale Lage

Die kleine Wohnung befindet sich an in jeder Hinsicht strategisch guter Lage, gleich hinter der Basilika Santa Croce, alle (vielen weiteren) Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in "walking distance". Die Wohnung ist zweckmässig eingerichtet (Doppelbett; kleine Küche; Kleiderschrank; Arbeits/Esstisch; WC/Dusche und bei Temperaturen um 37 Grad tagsüber war ich sehr froh um die Waschmaschine), sauber und für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Florenz eigentlich ideal. Froh ist man jetzt in der Sommerzeit um den Ventilator, der leise und effektiv das Zimmer während der Nacht zumindest etwas abkühlte. Passionierte Jogger können sich frühmorgens jeweils den schattigen Weg ennet des Arno hoch nach San Miniato vornehmen und von dort oben die stupende Aussicht geniessen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und ausserordentlich hilfsbereit, schon vor der Hinreise haben wir gut kommunziert, Mails wurden innerhalb eines Tages beantwortet. Sehr empfehlenswert!

My stay in the appartment

I accidentally found this apartment on the internet, it had all what I was looking for: small, in the historical center of Florence and the price was great. In the reality the place is beautiful, situated 2min of the church Santa Croce and 7-10min to Duomo. Everything is really close, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and everything you need is in walking distance. For the apartment itself, bed is extra comfortable, kitchen is equipped with small refrigerator and gas stove, so if you do not want to enjoy the Italian kitchen, you can cook for yourself. Bathroom is really nice, nothing big, but everything is functional. For the payment and reservations, it all went smoothly, there was no problem in getting back the deposit, and checking in & out it is very simple. Overall I'm really pleased I stayed there and I hope if I return to Florence to stay there once again. :)

Allegri Apartment

Me alojé durante un mes en este apartamento de Florencia, muy cerca de la plaza de la Santa Croce. El apartamento es pequeño, pero los techos son altos y no se tiene en absoluto sensación de estrechez, sino todo lo contrario. Tiene una gran ventana, que da a un pequeño jardín interior, de modo que es muy luminoso y agradable, a la vez que muy silencioso y tranquilo. Tiene todas las comodidades, y está limpio y cuidado. Muy bien situado y cerca del centro: a la plaza de la Signoria se llega a pie en sólo 10 minutos. Al final de la calle, hay una panadería (recomiendo sus tartas y el trato es más que amable) y un poco más allá, un supermercado. Tiberio, el dueño del apartamento, es muy simpático y se puede contar con él para lo que sea, así como Franca, la casera, que me recibió con los brazos abiertos al llegar. En resumen, un mes delicioso en un apartamento en el que me he sentido como en mi propia casa: volveré sin la menor duda. Lo recomiendo

Sehr schönes, zentrales Apartment

Die gemütliche Ferienwohnung liegt sehr zentral und ist für zwei Personen perfekt. Der Vermieter spricht sehr gutes Deutsch und war überaus freundlich (und kümmerte sich sofort um den bei unserer Ankunft leicht defekten Duschkopf), wie auch der Empfang durch die Hausdame Franca. Von der Wohnung aus lässt sich Florenz hervorragend erkunden. Die FeWo war sehr sauber, einzig die etwas zusammengewürfelte Küchenausstattung (z.B. nur eine größere Teetasse, keine Schneidebrettchen) und der Kühlschrank lassen etwas zu wünschen übrig, alles in allem sind wir aber sehr gut zurechtgekommen. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Florenz und würden die Wohnung jedem empfehlen!
