We highly enjoyed our stay in Florence at this apartment that was just a stones throw from Piazza di Sante Croce. Great location and so many fantastic restaurants just minutes from the front door. Clean, comfortable, with wifi - you can't ask for much more. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Excellent place

Spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean and ordered, quiet, yet in the very center, a big supermarket close by. We hope to be back one day!One recommendation: remember the name next to the door bell that you will learn from the host. I must confess that I forgot it, but the owner was very intuitive and opened the door to let us while I was struggling with my phone. Thank you!

Fantastic location!

This apartment was everything we needed. The bed was the absolute most comfortable providing a great night’s sleep after really long days packed full of activity. There are a few stairs so just keep that in mind when packing. While i had initially regretted bringing a large suitcase, i was happy i did since we filled every spare inch with all the goodies! I will definitely look for this apartment again when i return to Florence.

Great apartment in a Wonderful area!

We loved the Sante Croce area and that we could walk to everything! The apartment was just as promoted and cute and comfortable. We would stay there again. It was an easy 30 minute walk from the train station and the old town was within 20 minutes in every direction. We loved the restaurants close by and the grocery store was a 5 minute walk. Overall we had a great time.

The apartment is very comfortable and livable. Check in was a breeze and the couple who greet you are lovely. Their orientation was very helpful. Food market, restaurants and the sights are all close at hand. Comfortable bed and quite quiet. We felt at home. Thank you!

Just like being at home

Our stay here was so enjoyable and had the Italian ambiance you would love. High ceilings, large windows, good heating, beautiful wood floors, furniture in the bedroom and large spacious areas. Has everything you need and more. The bed is very comfortable, extra blankets, always had hot water and good wifi. Kitchen had a few supplies. Provided tea, coffee, sugar, napkins, kleenex and paper towels.The location couldn't be better. Walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, cafes, shopping and all the main attractions. Taxi service at the end of the block. Was very convenient. Host's Piera and Silvano were very helpful in showing us how everything worked. We highly recommend staying here.

Comfortable apartment in the heart of Florence

The apartment in Santa Croce is in a great location for walking to see the main sites of Florence. The check in process was seamless as we were met by the host’s relative and were shown around the apartment, as well as orientated to our surrounds with a city map. The apartment itself was a good size for two people, although the kitchen could only fit one person at a time. The hot water is controlled by a gas heater and there was a strong smell of gas whenever hot water was used in the kitchen sink, or when in the shower. The kitchen does not have an oven, but is otherwise well equipped. Large bedroom and living/dining room. Despite our stay coinciding with Christmas, the apartment was well insulated from outside noise. Would recommend for anyone staying in Florence!

Beautiful and meticulously clean

This apartment was wonderfully welcoming. A relative lives right across the hallway and showed us how to operated everything from the window blinds to the stove. They pre-stocked the apartment with fruit and wine which was wonderful since we were hungry after travel. What impressed us most was the cleanliness of the apartment. I am kinda a neat freak and felt that this apartment was cleaner than my own home! The couch is a pull out and they have a chair thing that also pulls out into a twin. Plenty of beds for everyone! The apartment has a wonderful location (20 min slow walk to the train station - on the complete other side of town)! Most importantly (to us during our stay) is it is just around the corner from Vivoli, which in many local's opinion has the best chocolate ice gelato in Florence. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. P.S. Travel advice for Italy in general during the summer - bring bug spray! We were never told and had to get some when we first arrived in Rome.

The location is perfect! We were able to walk to the Uffizi, the Duomo, Accademia, and more. The room was clean and comfortable and the hosts relatives who greeted us were very kind and welcoming. We loved Florence so much and this apartment was perfect for us.

Very nice appartement in the center of Firenze. Very quiet, no noise from the street for sleeping . Very easy to visit the historic center can be done by foot. Next time, i will be back here again...

Great place and location

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was very well located in reference to access to transportation, restaurants, museums, attractions. It had A/C. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only thing that I didn't like was the additional fees for taxes and cleaning. I wish both had been communicated or included in the price from the beginning. Other than that the stay was great.

LOCATION LOCATION

Absolutely perfect location! This charming VRBO in Santa Croce is just steps away from everything in Florence — major sights, great restaurants, cafes, and local shops. We loved being able to walk everywhere and soak in the city's atmosphere. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Firenze!
