The travelers were two adults and one dog. We found the house to be close to everything you might need from grocery stores to restaurants to access to the highway while still feeling like you were in the woods. Neighborhood was quiet and if you are early birds like us, you can watch the sunrise over the mountains through the trees. House was very cute and clean and the beds are very comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent—very responsive.
Very unique property which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The management team was very responsive to any inquiries or requests. We would work with them again anytime. The property was exactly as advertised. The location was very convenient to any and all travels around the area. And yes, we did get to meet the local mama bear and her cub.
Wonderful view of the mountains. Kitchen was perfect size for our party of two. Hostess was very responsive. Clean rooms and bathrooms.Parking is a little sketchy and the mattresses were hard in both bedrooms.
We enjoyed our stay with our older dog. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. It was very sad to witness an orange body bag removed from the Chalet below while looking out at the beautiful mountain views. The ceiling fans are a little low for taller people. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
We stayed here with a couple friends for the weekend and it was perfect! Short Uber or Lyft to downtown and dog friendly. We would definitely stay again!
This was the perfect location for exploring Asheville and the nearby Smoky Mountains. We loved everything about the property and would highly recommended to our friends and family.
The property was very nice, and as described. Communication and assistance was quick when needed. It was a quick drive to downtown, the arts district, or waterfall hikes. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.
We rented the property for a three night Billy Strings concert tour stop. It was great to be so close to downtown but the feeling of being in the mountains! Home has everything we needed, it was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
Lovely home, well appointed & well supplied, excellent communication with host. Roads were a little tricky, but that was communicated in advance. Highly recommend.
Super clean property. Loved the setting, trees and birds. A lovely respite!

Fun location where you feel that you are in a tree house! We enjoyed Asheville shops (Trackside Galleries), waterfall hikes (Catawba), and dining (Lobster Trap). Easy entry to chalet. Lovely kitchen. Lovely updated kitchen, but the rest in need of a refresh and deep cleaning.
stayed here with my mom on our annual fall trip. the area was beautiful at this time of year, and we loved the house, which was very well-appointed with lots of extra toilet paper, trash bags, and dish soap. i particularly appreciated the grab bars in the bathtub. additionally, the instruction packet the hosts emailed me before our arrival was very helpful in figuring out how to get to the house, as my gps had a bit of trouble distinguishing the small mountain roads. overall, i highly recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again!
Cabin was in beautiful location in the woods. Were delighted to see mama bear and 2 cubs on our last day. Well stocked kitchen. Were disappointed to find wagsher & dryer were across the road, not in our cabin. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would come again!
