The wife and I stayed here for our 25th anniversary. Just a little getaway to relax. Wow, this place was amazing. It had everything you would ever need. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hot tub with a view. This place is definitely a must.
Cozy cabin, plenty of room for 7 of us, everyone enjoyed the game room, we spent a lot of time hanging out on the front porch. The hot tub was a great addition! The kitchen was well stocked.
My husband and I did a quick getaway to this beautiful cabin. Quiet, serene, gorgeous views of the mountains surrounding you. Everything you needed for a stay was available and very clean. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy the views.
Omg, i can't say enough how beautiful this area was! The cabin was big enough for myself, husband, adult kids and grandbabies. Kitchen was so nice and big! Beds were super comfy! Beautiful view from the wrap around porch! I will definitely be staying here again!
Absolutely perfect place to get away from it all! High up in the mountains with beautiful views. A quick trip down iron springs to brings you right into downtown Prescott for activity and great dining options if you want to get out. Quick access to great places to hike and explore. Love our stay here!!
We have stayed at this beautiful cabin three times now. We love the seclusion of this property and the great views. We had wild turkeys in yard, along with a momma deer and her baby!
The cabin and location did not disappoint! There were beautiful mountain views from every window and angle of the property. It was private and so quiet. We wish we booked for more days. Cooking in that kitchen was also a dream. If we weren’t pregnant we would have loved to have used the hot tub. We will be staying again.
Amazing location and view. Property was as stated, and a perfect get away. Large, nice cabin and as advertised. Host was easy to communicate with easy check in and out with great directions. The property location was easy to get to the main roads for travel in many directions, including Sedona and the Grand Canyon with scenic drives. Very quiet as well as comfy beds, pillows and with good amenities. Wild life in the area made the mountain, cabin feel you would expect, including Javelina, mule deer and birds and amazing sunrise.
First time at this cabin for my annual trip to Prescott with my daughter. This cabin did not disappoint! The views from the cabin were incredible and we spent most of our time on the front porch either relaxing in the rockers, enjoying the fire pit or using the jacuzzi. Cabin is rustic, but has all the modern conveniences with a large kitchen and nice bathrooms. Cabin is a short drive from downtown, but feels remote. Bonus visit from deer in the front on our last day. Definitely would come back to this cabin!
There were 4 of us. We came for a college graduation. Parents and Grandparents. The Kitchen and Dining were a good size for meals and adequately accommodated. The view from the front porch is breath-taking so it was lovely to watch the sunrise in the morning. It is the middle of nowhere so there is no "just run out and get" something. Planning is required. But it is lovely.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Excellent location, and when I had a question about how to turn the heat on, the property managers responded right away... They did a good job. It could have been just the time we were there, but the place wasn't particularly clean. It looked like the cleaners had abandoned the job, mid-clean. One shower was clearly not cleaned and there was a bucket filled with soapy water right inside the door that we almost stepped in.... Mistakes happen and we just pre-cleaned for ourselves, but it did affect my ability to give 5 stars.
When I rent a vacation rental, I look for: price, location, cleanliness, comfort, privacy, and amenities. I don't think I've ever gotten them all in one property...until now.
The location cannot be beaten - although if you arrive in the middle of a snow storm at night like we did, it may be hard to find and you should have 4WD because the roads are steep. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful sunrise and enjoyed coffee on the huge wraparound porch. 5 deer wandered through to say good morning.
This property is private, and feels remote but is very close to town.
The furnishings are top-notch and very comfortable. Plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. The hot tub is big enough for two adults and a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.
I would highly recommend this property!

We loved the log home and the view was amazing!! The kitchen was great and modern, the split upstairs/downstairs heating was useful along with the propane fireplace! We had fun with the foosball table and enjoyed all the hiking nearby. The place was well stocked and well though out, and checkout was a breeze.

Welcome! I’m Wendy, owner of Prescott Cabin Rentals. I’ve been hosting guests in Prescott for many years and truly enjoy helping people experience the beauty and peacefulness of this area. When I’m not working on cabins and helping guests, you’ll usually find me gardening, caring for my birds, or playing pickleball. I love the outdoors, nature, and creating cozy spaces where people can relax, reconnect, and make memories with family and friends. Prescott has been a special part of my life for decades, and I enjoy sharing its forests, wildlife, mountain air, and small-town charm with visitors from all over. My goal is for every guest to feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home during their stay.
Why they chose this property
I chose Highland Pines because it offers the peaceful mountain atmosphere that so many people are looking for when they visit Prescott. The neighborhood is surrounded by tall pines, cooler temperatures, and beautiful forest scenery, creating a relaxing escape from city life.
What I especially love about Highland Pines is how quiet and serene it feels while still being conveniently close to downtown Prescott, Lynx Lake, hiking trails, and outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy nature, wildlife, and fresh mountain air while still having easy access to restaurants, shopping, and local events.
For me, it’s the perfect balance of comfort, beauty, and true Arizona mountain living.
What makes this property unique
What makes Lone Pine Lodge unique is its stunning custom log cabin design and breathtaking million-dollar views stretching all the way to the San Francisco Peaks. Guests love relaxing in the private hot tub out on the deck while taking in the mountain scenery and beautiful Arizona sunsets. The combination of rustic luxury, incredible views, and peaceful surroundings creates a true Prescott getaway experience.
