Great experience

We booked this for a snowboard trip over spring break and specifically appreciated the double bunk bed room. The location was perfect and convenient…1 bus stop away from Peak 8. The unit was just as pictured and the beds were very cozy. Our host Brett was excellent with communication. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay.

Easy to reach Bret, and lots of nice small touches throughout, but the fireplace didn't work and the hot tub is closed for Covid. Apparently I was supposed to see somewhere that the hot tub was closed, so I thought I'd post this here to help others in the future.

Family ski trip for Spring Break

Great mattresses. The space needs updating as some of the fixtures, cabinets, and the shower are very dated. Pretty convenient to the bus drop off. The carpeted living room was a big hit for our 10mos old. Bret was good at communicating. Initial instructions to open the door could be clearer (the lock is not intuitive the first time you’re using it).

Experience

The property was easy to get to once located correct building. The area overall area seemed smaller than expected for 8 people. When presented with an issue regarding the rental the person only respond one time and no solutions or options were offered. We had to handle the situation and solution completely on our own. I expected better from an vrbo booking.

BethAnn, Sorry you were so frustrated with your stay. Before you arrived I sent a note explaining I was going to be out of service hiking on my own vacation and wouldn't be able to respond much. I did respond when I could but you put metal in the microwave and broke it. I had to scramble upon returning from my trip to get the place ready for the next guest after you left. I would have reimbursed you if you had gotten a new microwave but you didn't. Sorry you didn't seem to find our step by step picture check in info helpful, most give us great reviews for the check in process alone! Better luck next time.

Breck Getaway

Excellent location, walking distance to main street, only 0.5m from peak 8 with bus stop access close. We had an issue with the gas fireplace and Brett fixed it the next day. Place is a little smaller than we expected, but was roomy enough for just the two of us.

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was in prime location from downtown and in a cute area. Brett was great at communicating and quick to respond when I had questions. He even arranged so we could check in early! The only issue we had was trying to find the hot tub... we found it the next morning. Will definitely be back!
