Welcome to Casa Tropical! This vacation gem is a peaceful getaway, a home away from home. This beautiful renovated 1925 retreat style home, with a large beautiful pool, and a summer kitchen, it is a perfect spot to enjoy the Florida weather with family and friends! This place is great for entertainment Ideal for families and groups of 6-8 but can accommodate up to 10 guests.

The space
We've made sure that you have a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern amenities, including a washer and dryer. We provide high-quality bed sheets, pillows, and linen. Every small detail has delicately been chosen to provide you with an inviting warmth in this generous gathering space.

Guests have access to the entire house and back yard. The pool is not shared however, the back yard entrance is shared as there is a Year around occupied studio apartment on the property. The entrance to the studio is on the side of the house and not visible from the main house. You will notice a car parked on the empty lot located on the side of the house.

Please keep in mind that the pool is NOT screened in and is not heated. The pool cleaning service is performed every Friday. Since the pool is not enclosed, it is not uncommon for leaves to fall in sometimes, especially if there are any afternoon storms. We have provided a pool skimmer for you in case there are any leaves that fall into the pool between cleanings.

The outdoor pool bathroom is currently under renovation; however, the renovation is contained to the inside of the bathroom, so the entire pool area is exactly as you see it in the pictures. guests are welcome to use the other amenities in the pool area such as summer kitchen, pool, outdoor gas grill, and outdoor furniture.

Top notch property with outstanding kitchen and pool

This is a clean, well-kept, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated house. The master bedroom had plenty of closets and drawers, a nice amount of outlets, and was very comfortable. The master bathroom was spacious and modern. There were 2 other very nice-looking bedrooms and a second big bathroom. For us, the highlight was the kitchen, which is a gourmet kitchen with gas burners, a self-cleaning large oven, and extensive counterspace - along with lots of pots and pans. The pool out back was generously sized with a lot of pool toys for our grandchildren to play with when they came to visit. I found Ingrid incredibly helpful and responsive. When we got there the pool had some leaves because of a recent storm, and she got her cleaners out there mid-week to re-clean it. We enjoyed dinner outside on the poolside covered table. Everything worked well - the A/C, the disposal, the hot water, etc. Thank you Ingrid and family!

Great vacation home.

We loved this property. Very nicely decorated and the furniture was very comfortable. Nice size bedroom and large kitchen. Kitchen as well stocked. Towels and bedding were very nice. Bathrooms were very clean. The large pool and outside area was awesome. The kids loved the pool. We would love to stay here again our next trip to Apopka.

Great Vacation Home

We stayed here to be close to family who live in Apopka. The home is clean and well-maintained. The owner is very responsive and helped us quickly with the minor issues that came up during our stay. There is a secondary apartment built out in the garage with a long-term renter, which we weren't expecting, but we had no issues. The neighborhood is a little sketch but typical of the Apopka area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Great Key West type house in Apopka

If you plan on visiting Rocky Springs, this is a great housing option for a large family. Awesome pool, super clean, and full equipped kitchen. Highly recommended.

False Listing and Loud Clean Up Crew Disturbed Stay

The website claimed to have a chimney fireplace in the backyard and a pool access but both claims were false. The pool was green and unsafe to swim in. The following day they came at 7 am to clean the pool, cut the grass and trees while we were still checked in at the house sleeping. Very uncomfortable and unsatisfactory.
