About this property

**Lakefront** Open Concept Gem

Wamplers Lake is an all-sport but peaceful lake in Irish Hills, popular for year-round fishing and host of the annual Midwest Open Ice Fishing Tournament.

Our lakefront property includes backyard, front yard with patio and electric awning, plus an additional front lawn and seawall right up to the water's edge.

Lakeshore Drive is a quiet private road with more pedestrians than vehicles. Morning walkers, joggers, and cyclists enjoy the beautiful views and peace and quiet of Lakeshore Drive.

Our lake home has a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level, plus two additional bedrooms and a half bath upstairs (see below for bed sizes). The main level has a large open-concept great room that includes a fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining room, and laundry. Just off the living room is a heated four-seasons room with beautiful views of the lake. Window air conditioning units are located throughout the home.

Home has a long private driveway with both front and back doors for your convenience. Maximum 4 vehicles.

Please note that 100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to the cleaner.

***WINTER GUESTS: First floor has central gas heat, which covers the master bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, main bathroom, and sunroom. There is also an electric fireplace below the TV in the living room. Upstairs bedrooms have their own baseboard heaters. Dock is removed during the off-season.***

Beautiful lake cottage, pier, lake swimming, wooden swing next to the water, beautiful birdsong, and clear windows to view it all from inside the cottage. Well stocked with coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry supplies, and more. Excellent host.

Relaxing week on Whamplers lake

Wonderful place on Whamplers lake. We were able to take our boat and keep it right at the dock in front of the house. The home is cute and was well stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We are a family of born and raised Michiganders. Though we moved away to Kansas City some years ago, we purchased this lake house for the nostalgic Irish Hills lake-life getaways.

Why they chose this property

This lake house received a much overdue facelift and update, but it still has the rustic charm of its era and country lake life. First floor master bedroom and full bathroom are great for those with mobility limitations. Four-seasons room with lake views is perfect for relaxing year round.

What makes this property unique

Wamplers Lake is so quiet and peaceful, it's hard to believe it's all-sport. It's a fisherman's dream! Lakeshore Drive is a mile long and follows the northeast shoreline, and we're smack dab in the middle at the half-mile mark. It's very popular for easy strolls, morning jogs, and cycling.
