At the crossroads of Périgord and Quercy (Dordogne and Lot), period limestone house with exposed beams, fireplace.
Ideally located in the heart of the Périgord Noir on a hill, open on the surrounding countryside. Perfect for nature lovers. Magnificent starry sky.
The house is at the end of a pretty little hamlet of around ten houses in the Périgord style. The road stops at the entrance to the property.
Calm and change of scenery guaranteed !!! Ideal for recharging your batteries!

Ideally located for exploring the Périgord Noir, the Dordogne valley, Quercy and its gastronomy:

The property and location were great and the hosts were brilliant … they spent time telling us about the lovely places to visit which meant we could start isitong places (St Genies Sunday Market) straight away. They also gave us much needed tips on how to keep the house reasonably cool. Jean and Marie couldn’t have been better hosts. The directions could have explained the gite was in a remote and high up place with a little extra guidance on the route. But our hosts were on the end of a phone to guide us in. We had a wonderful week. Thank you.

Maison très propre, au calme, attention le village a 2,5km n'a AUCUN commerce. Il faut faire 5 ou 12 km pour se ravitailler. Beaucoup de Châteaux a visiter, des grottes, et villages pittoresques. Et surtout de très bons repas Périgourdins...

Calme et repos

Excellente semaine à tous points de vue. Les conseils de visites des propriétaires très sympathiques étaient très pertinents Le gîte est idéalement situé et très agréable. Randonnées dans des sites exceptionnels et préservés. Un très beau patrimoine à proximité.

Magnifique gîte

L'emplacement du gîte est fabuleux. En dehors de toutes les possibilités de découvertes et visites à faire entre 30 et 45 minutes en voiture, si vous désirez vous reposer dans un cadre verdoyant et d'un calme olympien, ce gîte est d'excellence. Les 2 chambres ont leur propre salle de douche et de bain, très appréciable. La cuisine, bien qu'elle soit assez bien fonctionnelle, mériterait un rajeunissement de certains appareils à disposition. Il aurait été également appréciable de ne pas trouver dans les placards des articles, laissés par d'anciens locataires, qui n'étaient plus utilisables. Très bonne semaine au gîte malgré le temps maussade durant ma venue. Le propriétaire a été disponible pour fournir des renseignements utiles sur les lieux à visiter.

Immer wieder gerne

Wir genossen die Ruhe und schöne Landschaft rings um dieses Gites .Wir konnten auch wunderbar in den guten Betten schlafen.Alles wirklich sehr schön und empfehlenswert. Ganz in der nähe konnten wir sehr,sehr gut in einem Restaurant essen ,mit einem wunderbaren Blick über diese Hügellandschaft.

Super séjour!

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour à Borrèze, dans cette maison surplombant la colline, loin de toute pollution sonore. Rien à redire sur la propreté du lieu et l'équipement à disposition. Il faut bien sûr une voiture pour se déplacer, mais la maison est idéalement située pour visiter les meilleurs spots du périgord noir. Un grand merci à M. et Mme Goudal qui, lors de notre accueil, ont pris le temps de nous conseiller sur les activités et lieux incontournables. Amateurs de ciels étoilés, venez avec votre téléscope, vous ne le regretterez pas!

Merveilleux séjour à Borrèze

Je remercie les propriétaires pour leur accueil personnalisé et très sympathique; ils nous ont donné de bons conseils, notamment pour de bons restaurants ! La location s'est très bien passée. La maison est très bien équipée. Le lieu est absolument fantastique pour une expérience de repos et de silence. Merci encore !

Tout est conforme à notre attente. Mention spéciale pour l'accueil. Les deux chambres, équipées de WC et salle d'eau, sont indépendantes.
