Sargent beach, swimming, surf fishing, fishing on the ICW, kayaking, boating, bird watching, and breath-taking sunsets all await. We can't wait to have you!

Explore the island with it’s city and county parks, walk on the miles of beach, or swimming in the ocean. Stay up for some night fishing on your lighted dock, your next door to the Shrimp boat bait store and a boat ramp. Prepare your unforgettable freshly caught meal in the full kitchen or small propane grill. Go adventuring in our two kayaks (Waiver Required) or enjoy the neighboring San Bernard Wildlife Refuge and Justin Hurst Wildlife Management Area. This house is a bird watcher delight as it backs onto the wetland reserve.

You'll enjoy a bright and spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen with up to 8 of your friends and family. A private master bedroom on the top floor with balcony and bathroom. Two bedroom on the middle level with shared bathroom including walk-in shower. Main floor has all the living area and both a deck and screened in patio. Large yard with a nice breeze to enjoy any time of the year. The kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, utensils, pots and pans, cutlery, coffee maker, blender, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, basic spices, and more! Full size washer and drier for your use.

Thank you Sid for offering up your property on VRBO. Sargent is a great place to go if you're looking to get away from the tourists that frequent other beaches. It is absolutely by and far my favorite place on the Tx Gulf Coast. Sid was readily available for any questions and concerns, the house was super clean and the fishing was fantastic! We will be booking with Sid again in the near future!!

Great fishing

Sargent isn’t a great place for the beach. We drove to matagorda beach. The fishing was excellent off the back dock. We all hit our limits on slot reds and drum and even caught a couple bull reds. The house is great. Storm shutters make the rooms dark during the day. It was a fun time.

Great Labor Day Weekend

I have been going to Sargent for years and I think this is the best place I have stayed. The house was clean, well stocked, and was very comfortable. The views, fishing, and crabbing from the dock were amazing and the proximity to the beach made for a great weekend. We will definitey be back!!!!!!
