We have stayed at many condos on SKB, this one by far was the favorite. We had everything we needed as it was well equipped. The view is truly a million dollar one. We were able to watch six different firework shows because of it. Thank you, Debbie for accommodating us as a last minute booking.

Perfect Location!

This 12th floor condo is the perfect location to enjoy the beautiful Siesta Key beach view! Nothing can beat the full access of the beach right in front of you. We are coming back!

We recently spent a week in this condo, and it was a wonderful vacation! The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay a pleasant one. This location has a beautiful gulfront view from the lanai, and the panoramic view is incredible, all the way to Sarasota! The owners were a pleasure to deal with, and very responsive to any inquries before and during our stay. I highly recommend this condo for your vacation in Siesta.

Perfect Vacay

We had such a lovely vacation at Don and Debbie's beachfront condo in Siesta Key. This was our first visit and we would definitely return again. There are no words for the incredible views in each room of the condo. The beach was fabulous with Aqua waters and white powdery sand, Perfection!!!! The condo and hospitality we received exceeded our expectations as everything we needed for our stay and more was there. We frequented the Siesta Village, Armand's Circle and Marina Jacks nearby, they were great places to visit.

Title is Accurate

We first stayed in this lovely condo in 2011 and returned again for eight weeks in winter 2012. The condo has a fabulous view of Crescent Beach (we think it is the best view on Siesta Key!). The unit is tastefully furnished, bright and airy. The beds are comfortable. The lanai is a delightful place to enjoy the gulf without being on the beach. It is shaded and screened and perfect for us--two people who are sensitive to direct sunlight. The building is secure and welll maintained.

Amazing

My husband and I have stayed at Debbie and Don's condo every October for the past several years. We keep coming back because it feels like home. When you open the door to the breathtaking views of the Gulf - you feel like your in paradise. Debbie and Don have thought of everything to make your stay a true vacation. Our first time on Siesta Key, we stayed at this condo, and have gotten to know the Siesta Key/Sarasota area very well. 2 Weeks in "Paradise"

My family and I have been staying in this condo for two weeks every summer for the past 6 years. It is absolutely beautiful in every way. Debbie and Don have thought of everything to ensure that your stay will be perfect. The best part of this condo is the amazing view of the Gulf and the crystal white sand beaches. The view from this 12th floor penthouse is spectacular. My family thinks of this condo as their second home and we can't thank Debbie and Don enough for sharing their piece of Paradise with us each year. When we leave every year, my kids remind me that we will be back in 50 weeks!

I'm a celebrity in a beachfront penthouse!

This property is in a prime location directly on the beach! The fact that it is a penthouse condo just adds to the absolutely breathtaking views of the gulf at sunrise & sunset from your own personal perch above the pure white sands of the expansive beach! The pictures of the inside of this relaxing haven do not do justice to show the actual upscale gourmet kitchen with wide views of the ocean; a view seen from every window as well as the huge screened lanai. We enjoyed swimming in the large pool that also had a view of the beach just a few steps away. All of this is why I keep coming here every year! Not to mention the great shopping & restaurants in the village. Our favorite place to grab a bite to eat; Cap'n Curt's; is just a short walk away. Plus they are BIG Ohio State Buckeye backers!! Fun place!! Thank you Debbie for graciously sharing your home for us to also enjoy!

Paradise At Siesta Key

We just got back from Siesta Key and loved it. Debbie and Don were the best to rent from and they have a gorgeous condo. Everything in the condo has been redone and all appliances are high end also very comfortable bedding. You can tell they take much pride in their place. They also had a closet with some added extras of things that we normally have to go buy while we are there like body boards, umbrellas etc. That was also nice. Everything in this listing definitely fits the condo and more it was great. They also called to make sure all was okay and gave us lots of tips on places to go and to eat and info on the area. I cannot belive we have only been back a couple of weeks so the only problem is "Vacation Was To Short". Thanks again Debbie and Don.

A Wow Vacation!

This condo exceeded our expectations! The listing and photos were accurately described. The condo was very clean, well-maintained and offered many amenities. For those who like to dine-in, the kitchen is very modern and had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The owners, Debbie and Don, were friendly and timely in responding to our questions. The reservation process was easy and done via email. They called us the second day of our stay and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. They gave us restaurant suggestions and asked if we had any questions. This was our first visit to Siesta Key and our first time using the VRBO site. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. Many other reviews on this property have mentioned the view, and we must say it was spectacular! We spent many hours on the lanai just enjoying the wonderful weather and view of the sunsets over the Gulf. The people we met at the Crystal Sands were friendly. There are many attractions close by; including the Mote Aquarium, which we thoroughly enjoyed. There is something to do for everyone or you can just enjoy the beautiful beach and clear, warm water. We would absolutely recommend this condo to anyone who is considering visiting Siesta Key and wants to experience a piece of paradise. There are just no words to really describe the awesome beauty of this part of the world, you have to see it for yourself! We would definitely stay here again when we return to Siesta Key!

Two Weeks in Paradise!

We couldn't be happier with Debbie & Don's beautiful condo. They have done a marvelous job of decorating and furnishing it with every conceivable comfort and with the highest quality features: Top of the line cabinetry and appliances, charming dishes and serving pieces, lovely original art and beautiful and comfortable furniture. We greatly appreciated the love and care that they put into this condo -- it felt like the kind of home we are used to and we certainly made certain that we treated it with the respect it deserves. We loved the incredible view of beautiful Siesta Key Beach and the magnificent sunsets from the lanai that adjoins both bedrooms and the living and dining room. We enjoyed our walks along the beach and into the village for meals or ice-cream or gelato. Don't miss the glass elevator at the end of the corridor -- it's much more "scenic" than the one closest to the unit!! The location near the southern bridge to the mainland made trips into Sarasota, or to some of our favorite discoveries (the Ringling Museum, Spanish Point, Myakka State Park, Celery Fields for bird watching) and even to Costco & Trader Joe's quite easy. By the time we returned "Home" from our excursions we were more than ready to stretch out and enjoy our favorite shows on the terrific jumbo flatscreen tv in the living room or catch up with the news on the bedroom flatscreen tv -- or to curl up with a book or to just do nothing at all but to enjoy the view! It was truly like two weeks in Paradise and and very hard to leave!

Siesta sunsets and beach walking relaxation

Fabulous condo. The view absolutely cannot be beat. Very comfortable and well stocked. Stunning sunsets every evening. We walked on the fine white sand beach every day, which was just an elevator ride down. The local area of Siesta Key and Sarasota is very enjoyable and has diverse opportunities even during these COVID times. But we generally stayed at the beach. It really is an extraordinary location and we highly recommend it.

What more could one ask but a lovely condo in a perfect location? This even exceeded expectations. We have done a number of Sarasota rentals and the 1205 owners were the most guest-considerate we've ever encountered. Of course the basics were all in place, but there was a great library of paperbacks for a rainy day. There were games and cards, and even a roll of scotch tape when we needed to wrap a package! Had a minor plumbing problem and owner was ready to send someone instantly. Bottom line is that the place is really lovely, very comfortable, and beautifully equipped. Kudos to the owners!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo on the beach with such an amazing view. Watching the breath-taking sunsets from the balcony gave us such joy. Amazing Vacation

It was an absolute delight staying here. The condo is unbelievable, and the view is breathtaking. We enjoyed it all. What a gorgeous place on the beach! Cannot say enough! We spent a lot on time on the balcony, because between the view, and listening to the ocean, we could have just slept there too :). Everything is renovated, and so charming. The private beach is perfect, just a few steps away which was so convenient. The owners were wonderful to work with, and very helpful. Debbie was very prompt in answering our questions, and guiding us with suggestions for fun things to do in the lovely Siesta Keys. We love Siesta Key, the beautiful beach, white quartz sand, and year round great weather. Plus, we enjoy the quaint charm of Siesta Village's restaurants and shops, while riding bikes throughout the barrier island or a quick car ride to downtown Sarasota or St. Armand's Circle. The relaxed island atmosphere brought us back year after year, so we finally decided to buy a slice of paradise right on the beach. Now we can enjoy the beautiful sunsets from every room of our condo, or walk just steps to the beach or ocean front pool to enjoy beachfront living!

Why they chose this property

Crystal Sands is located on the barrier island of Siesta Key in Sarasota Florida. Located on the Gulf of Mexico, the island is conveniently located approximately 15-20 minutes from the Sarasota (SRQ) airport, or one hour from Tampa (TPA) or Ft. Meyers (RSW). Families can also incorporate a Disney or Universal Studios trip, as it is an easy interstate drive of 2 hours to Crystal Sands.

What makes this property unique

Crystal Sands is one of the few condominiums that is literally steps to the beach. Other complexes are set back much farther from the beach, look out over foliage or rooftops, and ours does not. Our penthouse 2Bed/2Bath unit has a view from every room, that few can match. One can enjoy panoramic views of downtown Sarasota, ocean front sunsets or postcard views of Crescent Beach. The complex is also one of just a few that have an oceanfront pool.
