Thank you for your kind review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We will be happy to host you again.
Your hosts,
Nora, Heeyang, Jocelyn
Excellent accommodations for a party of five. Only issue was an A/C problem the first day (bit of a heat wave going through), but the property manager (Jocelyn) was right on it and it was fixed very quickly.
Beautiful view of lake Fernan. Well stocked kitchen and nice appliances. Would definitely come back.

Thank you for your kind review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you again.
The house was good and the view was great but there were a few things that didn't hit the mark.
The umbrella on the patio is old, worn, and full of bugs. You couldn't open it or the excessive bugs hanging out on the deck would fall into your food.
The gas fireplace didn't work. Not a problem most of the time but on a couple of chilly nights it would have been nice.
Even though this house charges a $450 cleaning fee and a $270 service fee, you are expected to take out the trash and roll the garbage can up a 45 degree inclined driveway to the street or be charged a $75 fine for a "dump run."
Somehow a house where you are charged $500 a night for 2 people and, in my experience, a fairly high service and cleaning fee shouldn't threaten you with additional "fines" for not taking out the trash.
Overall, we liked the house. Couer d'Alene is beautiful but I just didn't like the threats of fines if I failed to do something. It just isn't necessary.

Thank you for taking the time to write a detailed review and affording us the opportunity to address these issues, William.
After a season of bookings this summer, you are the first guest to mention the patio umbrella. Being outside on the balcony, it is exposed to the hot summer weather and bugs. If you would have messaged us, we would have had the property manager come out to replace it. We are sorry you had trouble with it.
The fireplace requires two switches by the wall and can be tricky to operate. After reading your comment, we had maintenance and the property manager check the unit and said the fireplace was working. We would have gladly sent them out to check into this for you while you were at the property.
With regards to the rules and fees, unfortunately the housekeeping fees are set by the housekeeping company and our Property manager. Since the owners pay a living wage and employ local workers, these are unfortunately not negotiable.
We are sorry to hear you had issues about the house rules and fees. All house rules are listed on the platform and it is assumed that guests have read them before they book. Previous guests have not had issues with the rules especially taking up the trash on trash day.
Unfortunately the rules were set by owners BECAUSE of issues from previous guests. The owners assess each infraction case by case. Fortunately, most of our guests have been exceptional and these “extra fines” have not been necessary.
We wish you good travels at your next destination and thank you for staying with us.
Wished rooms had at least one other king bed and queen beds. While good for families with kids, as a party of 4 with both couples in our 60’s, we needed 2 king beds. And more pillows. But overall, great property with a wonderful common space.
We were spending the week hiking, biking, water skiing, swimming, canoeing and paddle boarding. This property is central to it all and really perfect for two families.
The house is beautiful and the views from the spacious deck are amazing. We spent most of our evenings on the deck talking and just soaking up the beauty.
The house is clean and has lots of extras for going to the lake or picnics. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need to make meals or eat take out.
I would not hesitate to stay again.
The house was extremely well outfitted for our stay, fully supplied kitchen for anything you would want to cook, assortment of board games and movies to play. It felt like going home after venturing out verses staying in a hotel.
The property manager was very nice and accommodated the schedule changes we had as well.
Loved the experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to stay!
