Lovingly restored, historic downtown Manteo home, circa 1899, in the heart of it all. Original hardwood floors from family mill throughout. Simple 2 block walk to Manteo's waterfront, marinas, delicious restaurants, charming shops, brewery, distillery, and Roanoke Island Festival Park. A ten-minute drive to the beautiful OBX beach of Nags Head, Jennette's Pier, Sam and Omie's and Fish Heads Bar & Grill. Outdoor amenities shared with Owner's Suite, when occupied.

Nice place but needed maintenance a few times to fix some issues. Property Management (Chris & Matt) saved the day.

A nice historic getaway

This was a very nice older place to stay. Close to everything in Manteo. Peaceful neighborhood. The place does need some maintenance, master bedroom floor needs replacement .

Lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood

Clean and comfortable! We loved staying here. The master suite was surprisingly roomy and nice for a home of this age. Nice front porch for sitting and reading.

Historic Home In The Heart Of Town

I’m not sure what is cuter, this house or the town it’s in. I love the Mayberry feel of Manteo. It’s a sweet walking town with plenty to do and see. The house is historic and charming. The rooms are smaller, but we didn’t mind. The kitchen and eating area are the biggest part of the home and it has a nice sized fenced in yard in the back. You’ll love the outdoor porches. The outdoor shower was a nice surprise. I would gladly rent this home again.

Well appointed, everything we needed. Lovely historic home with nice updates. Comfortable and convenient. All bedrooms are upstairs, which you may want to consider if stairs are a obstacle anyone in your party.

Ideal Vacation Experience in Downtown Manteo

This historic home in downtown Manteo is spacious enough for a family of 6. It’s within walking distance of shops and restaurants as well as to the waterfront & Roanoke Island Festival Park. We really enjoyed spending time on the front porch at the house! We had a great week and wonderful memories!
