Our carriage house is truly tranquil and peaceful. Watch the boats cruise around Lobster Island or the breakers hit Sally Island Ledges. Enjoy the seagulls, heron, ducks, seals and other sea life
on beautiful Gouldsboro Bay.

This new one bedroom spacious carriage house includes a large bedroom with queen bed, luxury bedding and reading library with overstuffed chair and views of the bay. Living room has satellite TV and windows overlooking the bay. New kitchen with glass top range, dishwasher, and refrigerator, fully equipped for your dining pleasure. Bathroom with ceramic tile floor and fluffy towels. You do not need to bring linens as we have provided quality linens for your pleasure.

Such a gem of a property! So comfortable and cozy! Easy drive to anywhere you want to go. We enjoyed sitting on the dock watching boats and birds. At night, we would sit out there and look at the amazing stars!! Bonnie was always quick to respond to questions…even allowing us to enter property early on our arrival date. The bed and all linens very nice; in fact, the quilted spread and throws were my fave. Cannot wait to come back!

This was really an amazing place to stay. You have beautiful views out on the water from the apartment. You also have a private dock with chairs on the water, from which you can view lobster boats going in and out, as well as cormorants, seagulls, great blue herons, and bald eagles. The location is very quiet and peaceful, but you are only 20 minutes away from Winter Harbor, with its shops and restaurants, as well as Acadia National Park with its trails and seashore.Once you get up the somewhat steep stairs, the apartment itself is extremely comfortable and well equipped, and it was very clean. It feels light and airy, with very comfortable chairs in both the living room and bedroom. The bed was the best we had on our trip. There is even the balcony where you can sip your coffee and look out at the ocean.Very strongly recommended!

My wife, the first hour we were at the carriage house coudn't stop saying how cute this property is...the owners were very responsive to questions we had and provided late check in due to our travel arrangments. Close to all the fun and adventures in the Acadia park area.

Unbelievable place

Charming cottage stay

From the moment we arrived we loved the cottage! Perfect for the two of us! We bought local seafood and cooked in almost every night while enjoying the solitude of property. Would absolutely come back again and stay. Bonnie was so easy to work with and the cottage was clean and very well appointed!

Idyllic

The property was as advertised! So restful and quiet, with views from every window. We enjoyed hiking and biking in the area - Arcadia in Bar Harbor and Schoodic sides, plus a trip to Lubec and Campobello Island. Highly, highly recommend this VRBO!

Perfect Place

What a lovely find, a real gem of a place. On the water, tranquil views from all the windows a very nice kitchen and bath with a very comfy bed, all very thoughtfully decorated. Honestly, what more can you ask for in a vacation rental? Just perfect!

Inviting and calming

The layout was perfect…kitchen easy to work in with everything I needed. Lovely view from windows and small deck. Dock has 2 chairs for enjoying the views and sea breezes. Owners were terrific and helpful.
