Nice mountain view! Quiet with lots of nature. Comfortable. Cabin very decorative with an authentic cabin home feeling. Has everything you need. Don't forget to bring your own checker or chess pieces.
Our stay was great my family and I came down on vacation. The cabin was amazing in every way really liked the location very secluded, but not very far from anything. Will definitely be back.
The check-in was easy and very much enjoyed our stay if we return to the area we stay here again. Very cozy and we decorated and the kitchen facility was superior.
We enjoyed our first time in the Smokies. This home was in a great location for accessing trails.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location
This was a really lovely cabin but for our family it just was missing some practicalities (we have a 15 month old). The drive up to the cabin was pretty scary and no one had addressed that in the listing. It’s on a steep hill and there’s lots of drop offs. The cabin also was listed as having everything you need but then when we arrived basic helpful things like paper towels, extra trash bags etc were not provided which is very difficult with a baby. The biggest complaint is that we were required to keep air between 70 and 74 for our stay and with a baby in a cabin that doesn’t cool well it gets hot fast and the bedrooms were much hotter than the living room (like much hotter) We also had some basic issues like bedroom tv didn’t work because dead batteries Doors didn’t close all the way because of sloping which is really hard when wanting to put a baby down for bed and not wake him up with noise. It was very quaint and sweet and definitely fairly clean but these stresses and complaints plus some kurt conversation that read as a bit cold made the stay only mediocre instead of great. I say if you’re a cold natured couple who’s used to scary mountain roads then this is good for you otherwise there’s probably a better place to stay

I always enjoy responding to reviews like this. You chose a Mountain cabin in the Smoky Mountains... why would it be necessary for me to explain the mountainous road situation to you? You should have expected this. That would be asking why is there all that sand at the beach.
As for the practicalities you expected..
Prior to your arrival you were emailed a reservation agreement which clearly outlined what was provided. Per standard protocol, a start up of trash bags, toilet paper, etc were provided. In LARGE BOLD PRINT " PAPER TOWELS NOT PROVIDED " was in that agreement you sogned. All this was outlined in the agreement so that you could prepare and plan for you trip. Not sure what the age of your child has anything to do any of your complaints.
The 70-74 temperature setting was a recommendation. You had the ability to use the air-conditioning and set to temperature that was comfortable for you. I wss not made aware of the remote batteries until your check out. Since the baby was sleeping upstairs, i would have taken the batteries out of the remote upstairs and used in remote downstairs, that notified host so the dead batteries could have been replaced.
Dont be upset with host for things they are not aware of.
I checked the doors and they worked fine for me. That was an off complaint.
I would definitely not recommend the mountains if you like straight, flat land!
Would not rent to you in the future.
Perfect stay! Very cozy cabin, exactly as advertised. We are a family of 3 adults that stayed for Christmas 2025! We had space to spread out with the 2 bedrooms and a great. Immunal space to watch TV and eat. The kitchen was fully stocked. There was a screened in porch, a deck and hot tub so lots of outdoor space. I Wpuld love to stay here again!
The Mountain View was amazing! The cabin was clean, organized, and had all the qualities to feel like you were at home. Anita was so nice, and communication was great! Can't wait for our next stay. Book the trip!
The cabin was exactly as advertised, spotlessly clean and really decorated nicely for the holidays. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and there were plenty of towels and supplies in the bathrooms and by the whirlpool tub. Will definitely stay here again when in the area..
This cabin was absolutely perfect and I hope to be back one day. It had absolutely everything we needed and then some. The views from the deck were also very pretty. It was so quiet and peaceful as well.
The house was perfect for us! We appreciated the spacious living area as well as the covered and uncovered porches. The decor was beautiful and cozy! Only negative was that the hot tub had too many chemicals on the first day, but owner promptly offered a solution. Overall it was an amazing experience!
The cabin was great! It was exactly as described on the site. Clean, comfy, cozy and a beautiful view of the mountains. Highly recommend this rental!!!
