Activity and Interests
Villaverde is a small rural village close to Lajares and located about 15 minutes drive from Corralejo and El Cotillo with great views of the sea, mountains and Lanzarote due to its elevated position. The village also benefits from having a number of excellent highly rated restaurants.
Casa Mesa Verde is a modern, European architect designed luxury property. It can accommodate up to 8 people with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (please note we can provide a travel cot on request for children under 2 years).

Casa Mesa Verde is a private residence and all areas are accessible to guests except the number of bedrooms that will be made available will depend on the number of guests in the booking party and there is no guest access to the outside pool house.

The property benefits from stunning coastal views and includes a very spacious open lounge with beautiful wood panelling, equipped with Full Fibre Internet/WiFi throughout the house and outside terrace (installed 2022), Apple TV Box, Home Cinema, 65 inch OLED TV, BluRay/DVD.
The beautiful terrace and pool were completely retiled in 2022.
The property includes a fantastic fully equipped contemporary kitchen/diner which comfortably seats 8 people.
The master bedroom is in one wing of the property with its own dressing room and bathroom and has Apple TV/BluRay.
The second main bedroom located upstairs also has Apple TV and has an ensuite shower room/wc.
Casa Mesa Verde offers a fantastic overall living space that measures approx 380sq.m The mature tropical gardens are professionally maintained and the terrace benefits from a large approx 60m2 (approx 10.5m x 5.5m) swimming pool that includes a shallow end for children which is solar heated with electric back up for winter months. There is a poolside Shower, a Weber BBQ and covered terrace with table and chairs and an extensive sun terrace on two levels.

Family Wedding Bliss

A wonderful house as a base for 6 adults attending a wedding locally. The house had all necessary equipment and more . A very pleasant week. Great climate. Thanks to Mary and Clare for all their help.

Outstanding villa

We have just returned from the most amazing 2 weeks at this stunning villa, the photos do not do it justice. The villa is very well equipped and has everything you need. The pool is fantastic and great for children. Communication and support from the owner and local contacts was exceptional throughout our stay. Everything was fantastic. The only thing that it could benefit from would be some shade around the pool, not a problem for me as I love laying in the sun but my husband struggled without shade. We would love to return.

A beautiful Villa - amazing

What a beautiful place to stay. We had five of us, 2 children under 10 and had a fab time. The pictures of the villa almost don’t do it justice as it beautifully appointed and designed with some great features. The pool was almost too hot whilst we stayed at near jacuzzi temperatures but it was delightful to swim and splash in. The whole pool area is vast and the outside shower was great for wash off. The weather was exceptionally hot while there at 34-35degrees so an and the traditional winds had almost stopped and the villa did hot, very hot so early opening of doors and windows helped keep things coolish. The kitchen and lounge is fitted out with high end appliances and the quietest dishwasher I have ever heard…! We had no issues whilst we stayed and needed no help from the property managers but it was nice to know they were there if needed. Thank-you Mary and team for accommodating us and enabling a fabulous stay.

Tolle Unterkunft!

Wir sind als Familie für eine Woche in die "Casa mesa verde" eingezogen. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld mit Mary war sehr gut. Sie hat uns die komplette Beschreibung der Villa (Anreise, Check-In, Benutzung des Soundsystems und TV, Waschmaschine, Vorschläge für Restaurants, etc.) vorab per E-Mail als pdf-Datei zur Verfügung gestellt. So konnten wir uns schon ein bisschen einlesen. Die Villa selbst liegt sehr ruhig in Villaverde. Sie ist in ca. 30 Minuten vom Flughafen erreichbar. Es sind ca. 12 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Corralejo. Die Villa bietet genug Platz um einen entspannten Urlaub zu genießen. Der Pool ist beheizt und wirklich groß und wurde zwei Mal in der Zeit gereinigt. Besonders gut hat uns die hochwertige Ausstattung gefallen. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Haus war für uns perfekt, sehr gross und groszügig geschnitten. Die Küche super ausgestattete. Der Pool wurde regelmäßige sauber gemacht und auch das Haus einmal komplett geputzt. Alles in allem super, Wir kommen wieder.

Alles in allem gelungener Urlaub

Wir waren als Familie und Freunde mit 10 Personen dort. Das Haus ist Traumhaft schön, der Pool sehr groß und angenehm warm. Es gab für jeden eine Liege und Handtücher für den Pool. Die Umgebung ist wenig Touristisch, aber mit einem Mietwagen erreicht man alles problemlos. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt es auch in der Nähe. Es gibt eine riesige Küche mit allem was man so braucht, gut ausgestattet und einen fantastischen Esstisch, wo wirklich alle ausreichend viel Platz hatten. Die Zimmer und Betten sind gut aufgeteilt, das Hochbett quietscht jedoch ziemlich stark. Es gibt 4 Badezimmer, was wirklich super war! Weniger wäre bei 10 Personen schon manchmal eng geworden. Und jeder hatte noch mal 2 Handtücher bereit gelegt zum Duschen. Mein größter negativer Punkt ist, dass in einem der Hauptschlafzimmer ein begehbarer Kleiderschrank war, der komplett abgeschlossen war. Dadurch mussten wir die Kleidung auf dem Boden auslegen; keine Möglichkeit zum aufhängen oder andere Regale oder Schränke. Das hat meine Stimmung getrübt. Alles in allem hatten wir eine wunderbare Zeit, das Wetter hat gut mitgespielt und wir konnten den Urlaub vollkommen genießen. Wir würden immer gerne wieder kommen. Mary, die Vermieterin, war im Vorfeld und im Nachhinein sehr freundlich und offen für allerlei Fragen. Danke, Jessi und der Rest

Einmal mehr ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt

Bereits zum zweiten Mal waren wir in dieser wunderschönen Villa und haben die Zeit dort absolut genossen. Die großzügig geschnittene Villa mit 5 Schlafzimmern und Bädern, die traumhafte große und moderne Küche mit Blick auf die Nachbarinsel Lanzarote , der Blick von der Dachterasse auf den Sonnenuntergang, das große Pool im riesigen Innenhof … einfach ein Traum. Wir werden ganz sicher auch ein drittes Mal kommen!

A fantastic villa

We had the most amazing holiday staying in this fantastic villa. We were 2 families with 3 children 12 years and under and it accommodated us all brilliantly. The villa itself is very well equipped, was very clean and the pool was luxuriously warm. This was actually our second stay here and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Mary is also extremely efficient replying to any emails very promptly.

Dos de los baños no tienen presión en las duchas. Estuvimos 48h sin agua corriente, la alarma de incendios suena constantemente. Había hormigas en un dormitorio. La limpieza deja mucho que desear. El agua de la piscina no se depura todos los días.

Schöne Villa mit toller Aussicht und tollem Pool

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Casa Mesa Verde war sehr schön und angenehm. Die ruhige aussichtsreiche Lage lädt zum Erholen in vollen Zügen ein. Mary antworte im Vorfeld auf alle meine Fragen und wenn Sie noch so ausgefallen waren. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es funktionierte soweit alles. Abgesehen von kleineren südländischen „Ausfällen“ wie leere Gasflasche, kein Wasser und ein Abwasserproblem war alles in Ordnung. Dank der sehr guten Agenten vor Ort lief alles schnell und engagiert über die Bühne. Auch die Beschreibung selbst, welche man vor der Anreise von Mary erhält war sehr detailliert und verständlich. Auch der so wertvolle Hinweis der rutschigen Fliesen um den Pool. Hier ist einfach Vorsicht geboten. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub im passenden Umfeld. Ausreichend Platz für jeden. Wir waren zehn Personen. Wenn es in unsere Urlaubsplanung passt, würden wir hier gerne nochmal Urlaub machen. Ein Dankeschön an alle.

Superb!!

Everything was honestly described. The house was spacious and practically designed for a family. It would also be ideal for a group of friends or couples. The owner, Mary, rapidly and patiently responded to texts with any queries both before and during our stay. A no-fault problem was rapidly sorted out by the management. If we return to Fuerteventura we'd check the availability of this property first.

Fantastic stay in Casa Mesa Verde

We stayed one week in February 2020 with our family consisting of 6 people (3 couples) and a baby at Casa Mesa Verde. We very much enjoyed our stay, the spacious layout of the villa, the comfortable bedrooms with bathrooms, the well-equipped kitchen and the delightful terrace with swimming pooland beautiful garden. The three separate sleeping wings (two on the ground floor and one on the first floor) guaranteed maximum privacy for each couple. Due to the location of the villa a car is indispensable, although we enjoyed a wonderful morning walk to the bakery in the village of Villaverde. For the beach you are 20 minutes away by car, but we have enjoyed the heated swimming pool and the sun on the terrace most of the time. We definiately will consider returning once again!

Fantastic Villa

The villa is very well appointed and comfortable and was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 3 kids). Although the location of the villa is quite remote, this does gives you a good level of privacy with peace and quiet that can be enjoyed whilst relaxing by the pool or sitting on the spacious terrace. The local contacts (Mary, Jessica and Melissa) were very helpful and friendly. Everything was perect. Thank you very much. Best regards Thomas

Wow! What a house. What views. What a pool

Beautiful house and gardens with a massive and decadent pool. Situated on the outskirts of Villaverde and more inland This property provided us with everything we needed for a chilled and relaxing break. Peace and quiet with fantastic picture windows framing mountain and sea views. Although the house sleeps many (8) it was just the two of us. If there had been more people, there is still the space for all to chill out with both sides of the property having bedrooms and bathrooms. There was also a double with ensuite upstairs with access to the roof terraces. There was also parking for several cars There are two supermarket and a few restaurants in Villeverde. Easy drive from here into Lajares (3 x French patisseries, supermarket and multiple eateries), Corralejo and El Cotillo The latter two have fantastic beaches and many places to eat and shop Reluctantly shut the door. Both of us felt we could easily have stayed longer

Beautiful house. Perfect holiday.

The house was incredible. Even better than the photos. Spotlessly clean, loads of space, large pool, well designed open plan living. We had a fantastic week and would recommend to anyone. Booking was very straightforward and Mary was helpful with local recommendations etc. Few mins drive to nearest supermarket, and a couple of great restaurants in Villaverde.
