Cave Point Retreat welcomes a maximum of six (6) conscientious, non-smoking guests to this exceptional home on Lake Michigan that is open April 1-Dec 1 each year for guest reservations.

PLEASE NOTE:

Mid-June to mid-August Prime Time weeks book Friday to Friday

Spring and Fall reservations require a 4 nite minimum stay.

Ask us about extended stays! We offer special pricing for 2, 3, and 4 week reservations. Thirty (30) day stays are tax free!

PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS
*Cave Point Retreat is an exceptional, beautifully remodeled Lake Michigan waterfront home with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms that accommodates 6 guests.

*Situated on over an acre of gorgeous property, this very comfortable home offers quiet and privacy accessed by a waterfront road 2.5 miles south of Jacksonport and 13 miles north of Sturgeon Bay.

*All finishes and furnishings in this home are absolutely beautiful.

*The private wooded surroundings, 200' of shoreline, and Lake Michigan views are nothing short of spectacular.

LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN

*The beautifully appointed living and dining area are open to the well designed, generously equipped kitchen. Smart TV and business class Wifi are also offered.

*The living room has a cozy wood burning fireplace and there is a outdoor fire pit area as well with 8 comfortable chairs. Firewood is provided.

*The spacious outdoor deck offers comfortable seating, outdoor dining table and chairs as well as a gas grill.

*A beautiful attached screened porch offers more outdoor living and enjoyment.

BEDROOM #1

*The spacious master bedroom is lofted on the second floor, with a king size bed, its own private full bath and seating area that overlooks Lake Michigan. The loft also includes a queen sofa sleeper for additional sleeping options and a flat screen TV.

BEDROOMS #2 and #3

*The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms on the main floor have queen size beds and share the second full bath. Bed linens and bath towels are provided.

*This home's shoreline can be accessed for rented kayaks and paddle boards and is a 3- minute walk to the Schauer Road boat launch and a few minute drive south to Cave Point County Park, Whitefish Dunes State Park and Clark Lake.

*With Jacksonport less than 10 minutes north, enjoy Lil' Bit of Coffee, Bleys Grocery Store, Mike's Port Pub, Island Fever, Jacksonport Bakery and Peninsula Kayak where you can rent paddle boards or kayaks by the hour or the day.

PLEASE NOTE: Guest agreement must be accepted by an adult over the age of 30. No "party weekends", bachelor or bachelorette parties or other events.

Cave Point Retreat is a member of Door County Premium Rentals offering 6 unique properties in convenient proximity that sleep 4-14 on the eastern Lake Michigan shore of the Door County peninsula.

Cancellation Policy
Guests will receive refund less $200 if you cancel 45 days prior to check in date. Inside of 45 days no refund UNLESS we can book the dates. Then you woul receive refund less $200. We really try to work with our guests. We offer 2 levels of optional trip insurance should you have concerns about circumstances that would require a late notice cancellation.

What a wonderful place this is! As a family of 6 we recently spent a week at Cave Point and it was amazing. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and has a well equipped kitchen. The outside BBQ and seating area is perfect for cooking and for a cozy evening by the fire, cooking marshmallows. 5 stars from us all and we would love to go back and stay there again.

A slice of paradise

This rental was even better than the listing. Hard to capture in the photos. Great location and setting and the house has wonderful furnishings and supplies. The view and access to the lake was perfect. I have stayed at a lot of properties and this was one of our very favorites.

Anniversary trip

The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. This was our first "fall color" trip to Door County and we absolutely loved it! A little windy the first 3 nights for an outdoor fire, but there was an indoor fireplace as well. The view was gorgeous overlooking the lake. Beds were comfy, puzzles, games, reading materials, wifi, all made our stay fun and comfortable.

Gorgeous waterfront home filled with Door County Charm

Our family of 4 (2 parents; 2 adult children) LOVED our stay in this home. The house with its wood interior provided Door County charm and the modern amenities made the stay enjoyably easy. So many outdoor spaces: a screened in porch, a gorgeous deck overlooking the water, a bonfire area with provided aderondack chairs, as well as convenient access to the pebble beach. Beyond Comparison

Our stay at Cave Point Retreat exceeded our high expectations. The secluded location right on Lake Michigan allowed us easy access to activities, while at the same time providing every reason for staying lake-side, enjoying the beautiful view in a home that lacked for nothing. Family Vacation

Our family & our daughter’s fiancé stayed at Cave Point Retreat & had such a lovely time. The furnishings were not only tasteful but also very comfortable & we felt right at home. We brought our own kayaks & used them quite easily from the waterfront. When we ate dinner at the home, rather than going out, there was plenty of kitchen room as well as seating for dining & we all enjoyed gathering to relax in the living area at the end of the day for a cool drink before going to bed. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a gem!

An amazing property, in a wonderful location. Winter is a must, quiet and peaceful on the lake outside of tourist season. The house was spotless, with everything we needed for the best new years yet! We come to the quite side of Door County every new year, have been for the past 30 years. This home is the favorite of them all. Great place to relax and awesome location

We stayed here for an extended weekend in mid-October 2020. All the amenities and furnishings were excellent. We loved how the kitchen was well-equipped such as measuring cups/spoons, large dutch oven, etc. During this pandemic, we mostly stayed in and planned to eat-in. We were glad to be able to cook and serve full meals for all of us during our whole time here. The cabin is also a good 20-25 min walking distance or a short drive to the Cave Point County Park which is an excellent park full of wonderful hiking trails and sightseeing underwater caves. We would consider staying again. We are a bit bummed that they are now requiring a minimum 7 or 4-night stay (during off-season) into 2021 but we feel it is worth it if you are planning to stay for that amount of time.

Great location. The house and property is beautifully maintained. The beds were very comfortable and you just can't beat the view of the morning sunrise down by the lakeshore. House and property are exactly as pictured. House was clean, updated, well-maintained and very quiet. Deck was 60-70 feet from water’s edge. Nothing but dining and grocery basics in JPort, but plenty of both within 10-15 minutes. We’ll be back.

AMAZING BEAUTIFUL Home!!!

My family had an amazing time at Cave Point Retreat! The house is absolutely beautiful! The whole place has been renovated with everything top of the line! I’m usually a little iffy staying places and check every nook and cranny for cleanliness and end up cleaning before I settle in, but it was so clean that I didn’t have to do a thing and settled right in! I loved the decor and everything about the home! Kris was very responsive and I loved the detailed information she sent along with recommendations for places to go! Highly recommend without a doubt! Thank you for the wonderful memories we were able to make!
