This was our second year in a row staying at this property. Needless to say - we love it! Walking back in this year felt like visiting an old friend. We love the location, the layout, the amenities, the neighbors, all of it. One day we hope to own a Lake Martin home of our own, but until then, we’re so grateful Shana and her family shares this one!

This was an amazing location for our family. The kids were able to kayak and swim right near the home. Everything was clean and the host was amazing!! We will definitely get this house again.

Had a wonderful time!The teen boys enjoyed the downstairs area, especially having the bunk room for sleeping.All the amenities were great, from the lily pad to the kayak and paddle board. Great location and excellent communication with the host. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful lake house. The view is amazing and the area is relatively quiet. The adults as well as the kids enjoyed the outdoor area. The kitchen is well stocked for making family meals.

House was a great location, very clean and well stocked. Only thing I would change would be to know about boat storage in the information section. I didn’t realize how steep driveway would be but was offered access to park the boat. The only thing we lacked was somewhere to plug the boat in. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The check-in information included details about a large, flat area just down the road designated for boat and trailer parking, which has worked well for many of our guests. I’m always happy to answer any questions prior to or during a stay to help ensure everything goes smoothly. I also wanted to mention that the home was not left in the condition outlined in our checkout instructions. We do ask all guests to follow those guidelines so we can maintain the property for future visitors and make it easier for our cleaning crew. Lastly, I’d appreciate a bit more clarification on your comment about needing to “plug the boat in.” That’s not something we’ve encountered before, and I’d love to better understand so we can consider any helpful updates for future guests. It was the perfect weekend getaway with our crew. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed, we never left the house except to go on the boat. The dock was perfect for the kids to run and jump off of and perfect place for the mommas to relax a little on the porch swing. We will definitely be back!

Annual Friends Trip

Homey Lake Home

Really loved this rustic, but beautiful, lake home located on a secluded cove. Perfect for family and friends. The owners were a joy to work with and very accommodating. Looking forward to staying again soon.
