Sunrise Point at Cedar Creek Lake has four beautiful private cottages for your next getaway!

Located a little over an hour from Dallas and less than two and a half hours from Houston, this gorgeous private peninsula is an easy drive for the perfect lakeside getaway. Fifteen minutes from Athens and a half-hour from Ben Wheeler, Edom, and Canton, Sunrise Point features easy access to all the festivals, shopping, and attractions that East Texas has to offer.

The four on-site cottages are new and contemporary and feature designer finishes and incredible views. Each cottage has accommodations for two guests, a full-functioning kitchenette, and a private patio with a fire feature. Offered as a group rental only, the four separate 450 sq. ft. cottages can accommodate eight guests.

During your stay at the cottages, the peninsula is your playground. With panoramic views of the water everywhere you look on this private property, you will be drawn to the outdoors. Please take advantage of the beautiful saltwater pool and hot tub available to all our guests. Or head down to the lake. The private dock is available for your use during your stay to fish or swim. With advance notice, tie up your boat for your convenience. We even offer kayaks and paddleboards for added fun in the water!

Other outdoor amenities on the property include outdoor grilling, a putting green, a lakeside pickleball court, disc golf, and horseshoes. All you can need or want to enjoy your time at the lake!

Amazing peaceful oasis!

We just had the opportunity to stay at Sunrise Point and it was amazing! We loved spending time with friends in a beautiful setting. Every cottage was immaculate and so comfortable. Beautiful views all around. There was tons of spots to just sit and relax and enjoy the lake. Plus the pool was fantastic. We were able to spend all day there and enjoy the boats passing us by. Communication was top notch. Casey answered all questions within minutes and was available during our entire stay. The owners, Annie and Sue, live on the property but you barely noticed them. We enjoyed spending time with them and chatting but they definitely left us alone to enjoy our time with friends. We cannot wait to come back over and over. I highly recommend this place!

Highly Recommend Sunrise Point!!

Sunrise Point at Cedar Creek Lake is an amazing property offering its visitors a secluded and private location on a peninsula with stunning views of the lake, elegantly designed and well-appointed cottages and welcoming and accommodating hospitality from its hosts Anne, Sue and Casey. This property is perfect for friend group or family as it offers individual cottages all in a group setting with fire pits, grills, putting green and pool/spa. We had an absolutely fantastic time and will definitely return - highly recommend!!

Above and Beyond Expectations!

The property is huge and inviting. The cottages are immaculate and well designed with stunning views of the lake. It was so quiet and peaceful that we were able to relax and really enjoy ourselves. The owners are very welcoming and have built a paradise that, fortunately, they were/are willing to share with us. The pool is huge and overlooks the lake. The pictures really dont do this propery justice. We have already booked our next trip there!
