I’m Meme, and my son and two adult grandsons spent a lovely September week at Here Comes the Sun! The boys fished right through some angry weather caused by a Nor’easter offshore. We cooked some excellent meals, took some pleasant walks, slept late, and relaxed. It was a wonderful week!
The deck chairs were missing from 2 of the decks but the problem was sorted the next day. The property management company was very easy to work with from start to finish! The location was perfect and we enjoyed the house and our time there.

We are so happy you enjoyed your time and look forward to hosting you again!
The house was as described and served the purpose of a relaxing get away. There are a lot of stairs, so just be aware of that. The house seemed cleaned for the most part except for two dead water bugs in the bathroom and there was an area on the kitchen table that wasn't completely wiped or cleaned off. With that said, I grew up coming to this beach and the dead bugs could have happened after the cleaners left and the dirty part of the kitchen table may have been debris from the cleaners cleaning materials. Overall, the house was as described and clean for the most part. Thank you for letting us stay with you.

Thank you for your feedback. We will certainly talk to our cleaners. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!
Beautiful house. Nice layout and so close to the beach. Loved the covered porches. I am recovering from ankle surgery, so that was great. The listing is very accurate. It surpassed us there was no grill. We paid for the linen package and the sheets were nice quality! A/c works well! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Thank you for your review! We hope to see you again!
Great location and great house. It was great to walk off your deck onto the sand. It accommodated all nine of our guests with minimal issues. Only negatives were not enough TV’s and sound carries. There’s no not door on upper master level so main house area noise was an issue at night.

Location is great, the beach is right out the door! There are a lot of steps, so if that’s a concern for you, keep looking! The master bedroom on the top floor has NO door, Hugh lack of privacy and lots of noise carries from downstairs. The master suite is gorgeous, but the bed is hard and the shower has so little pressure that it is hard to rinse your hair. Needs more comfy seating in living room. The kitchen is fully stocked. Needs deck furniture on top level. Would have been nice to sit out there. Definitely needs more room darkening drapes. The gauzy white curtains were pretty, but at 6 am, you’re hit with bright sunshine, so no more sleep.

Communication was good until we had an issue, then crickets. Also, it was one of the most sparse kitchens we have seen. Only large dinner plates, no placemats for the dinner table. 3 wine glasses. No measuring cups and very few cooking utensils. Had to throw away a very old and broken cutting board. Had to use our own towels as mats in the showers as well as at the doors, as there were no bath mats or scatter rugs. Location on the beach was great, but the bushes at the end of the stairs were very overgrown, making it difficult to get through. There were many nails coming up on the decks outside, making it dangerous to walk barefoot for us, and our dog. It was relatively clean, but many of the vents were covered in dust/mold, as was the extra fan we found in a closet. Overall, we loved the location, but feel the property did not live up to expectations.

The property location was great and really convenient to the water and restaurants. The property was not well maintained. The floorboards are all separating in the kitchen, the kitchen chairs were broken and unstable, the deck had nails popping out that could cut your foot, the sliding glass doors had dirty handprints on them, the microwave was missing a face plate and had exposed electrical when you open the door, the fridge/freezer combo is placed in a way that you can’t open the freezer door more than 50%, the stove top range doesn’t work properly as the right side only operates at 100% heat (even on minimum temperature setting it boiled water), one of the bedrooms smelled like smoke upon arrival, the hose that was hooked up to the foot wash station leaked and to top it all off, this was the first rental I’ve ever stayed at where they didn’t provide one new roll of toilet paper per bathroom…….. that really should be a minimum standard. Only one bathroom had a full roll, another had a half roll and 2 bathrooms didn’t have toilet paper. This house has a great location, but needs someone to actually maintain the property to justify the cost. Also, the management group should really consider leaving basic things for renters (1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, a roll of paper towels, a dishwashing pod, etc).
