This was our third time staying at this house and we love it and will continue to come back. The house came with 4 beach chairs, boogie boards and lots of sand toys. The only real bad thing about the house is that the only way to get to the steps that lead to the beach is through the first floor bedroom. So how ever stays in this room should expect a lot of traffic. It has never been a problem for us.

Wonderful

The coconut is perfect! Everything about it is amazing. The property is beautiful and has everything you need for a wonderful week at the beach. The beach couldn't get any closer and was never crowded. We can't wait to go back!

Such a great place to be. The house was perfect and the beach was so peaceful. It's close enough to all the necessities and activities without being on top of everything. Shark teeth were everywhere right in front of our beach access! We loved every minute of our time there.

Beautiful views, clean, and relaxing!

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Great views from all three levels! Very clean and welcoming. Felt like home the first day we got there. We caught the tail end of the hurricane on our last day there and the owners called to check in on us and were so kind! Very satisfied with this wonderful place.

Steps from the beach

The beach is beautiful. The walk to the pier is a highlight. This area is only houses and no hotels so there are less people which we loved. The host is amazing and caters to your needs. You can just bring your bathing suits and enjoy the stay as the house is equipped with all you need. We will definitely return!!!

We found The Coconut to be very clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. Excellent location! This was an annual family reunion and the rest of our clan stayed just .2 miles down the beach. It was great to have everyone so close! Also, the owner, Deanna, was wonderful to work with. We highly recommend this property!!!

Love the location and the privacy of the beach. The house is nicely decorated, well stocked and the beds are awesome. Absolutely hate having to walk through someone's bedroom to get to the beach. There needs to be additional access from the living area deck.

Awesome in every way!

The north, east and south views from the beach front decks were spectacular. My photos of the sunrises were beautiful and not blocked by other homes. We loved that we could walk down the deck steps right onto the beach. The home was beautifully decorated and clean. The beds & furniture were very comfortable. We plan to stay there again because it was so terrific.

Feet from the beach

The rental was very roomy, with each bedroom having their own bathroom. The home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen well stocked. We loved the three levels of balcony’s facing the beach. We’ve rented many homes at the beach, but not one that was literally feet from the beach. Off the back deck, you walk down the steps and you are on the beach. We enjoyed cooking in each day, walking the beach, and hanging out on the back deck. We definitely will rent this place again.

What a fantastic spot for a vacation. We found the house to be clean, well equipped and confortable. The home owner was very responsive and pleasant to work with. Minor issue - the screen doors are on very testy sliders. Still - we loved this visit and would recommend this to all.

Cuckoo for Coconut!

My family and I have stayed at this property 4 times now and loved it each time. It sits on a beautiful part of the beach with plenty of room, especially on the side that has no homes built. It fits our needs and has plenty of parking. The interior has been well taken care of with new decor and paint. The owners, Bill & Amy Crawley are fantastic! Always communicated immediately.

Nuts About The Coconut

This property was just as described. View of the ocean for miles accentuated by the many windows on each level. Right on the dune for a few quick steps to the ocean. Loved hearing the waves! We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful and Relaxing!

What a wonderful place to take a vacation! Deanna's home is modern, clean and beautiful. Our hope was for a relaxing, restful week and this is just what we had. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes, the furniture and beds comfortable, and we felt right at home. We did get to see dolphins, gorgeous sunrises and lots of stars at night. We look forward to returning and enjoying again! Thank you for all your hospitality!

We are Bill and Amy Crawley! We are the new owners of "The Coconut" and we are so excited to share it with you our guests. Both Bill and I are entrepreneurs, Bill owns a company that does car detailing products and I own a furniture boutique that is a full service interior design firm. We have four beautiful children ranging from 12 up to 34 years old. We joke that we had our kids a decade a part. ;) We currently live in Utah, which is quite the jaunt from NC.

Why they chose this property

When looking for an investment property we never imagined Topsail. We had sold our dream home in St. George, Utah which is south from Salt Lake City (think red rocks and arches). The time was right and we couldn't pass up the opportunity... So the adventure began to try to find another property. We had looked all over the country when my sister in law suggested Pinehurst. We are not golfers by any stretch, mind you we have tried our best Lol!... however, we do enjoy the beach and have always longed to have a beach front property, so low and behold her realtor that she was working with in Pinehurst happened to have a condo in Topsail. So we began looking at multiple beach houses on the whole island which brought us to the where we are now. We fell in love so much with Topsail and "The Coconut" that we have decide to expand and build another investment property in the same area. Call us crazy but we are in love!! You will have to follow along with us on our journey of building our new place. Hopefully, we will start this fall. We will keep you posted. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy "The Coconut" as much as we do.
