Our six adult group had a wonderful time at Broken Windmill. This was our 12th year in a row coming to the area for a long weekend in the summer. The accommodations had everything we needed. We used the fire pit and played lawn games. We appreciated all the space with the two kitchens and living rooms. Kyle is a great host. We would love to come back!

What a great place to stay, especially for a group! I just finished a weekend retreat with a number of women, we were ALL comfortable, we had plenty of room. Everything was clean!! Our family had an excellent stay, huge house, comfortable rooms and a large equipped kitchen. We had lots of family time and enjoyed the downstairs area very much. Owner was responsive and wonderful. We will be back!

Excellent property

We enjoyed our stay! The layout of the house is great for giving the kids some freedom and independence. The property is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit as well.

I couldn’t have picked a better place to be married! The home was absolutely beautiful, we were so sad to go but will definitely have to come back soon! Note to future renters: don’t get drunk the night before check out 😅

Family weekend getaway

We had short notice of a family event and we found this fabulous vacation rental! Kyle was very responsive and easy to work with. The house was beautiful, very clean, spacious and met all of our needs and so much more! We will definitely plan to stay again!

Cannot go wrong with this property!

This is an amazing property and we will be rebooking with Kyle again. We had 15 people and did not feel crowded at all. House layout gives everyone their own space. Very well stocked and owners were very responsive with any questions that came about.

Wonderful vacation spot in Kendall Wisconsin

Communication and flexibility with the owner was a huge bonus. Part of my family had to arrive earlier than anticipated. Kyle when above to accommodate my family in a difficult travel situation. The property was very clean and well maintained. The two kitchens was a bonus as we did a lot of cooking all weekend for a large gathering. The yard was a perfect spot for yard games. We will be back again.

Most thoughtfully stocked VRBO property we’ve ever stayed at. Fantastic kitchen supplies, plentiful bedding and towels. Comfortable beds and great space for all ages to spread out in.

Beautiful home!

Great experience renting this home. We were there for a wedding at Hillsboro Brewing Co so it was a little drive from there. Make sure to have a DD if you're in Hillsboro for a wedding. Thanks for your quick responses to my questions!

Beautiful Property!

The pictures truly don't capture how amazing this home is. This was seriously one of the quietest areas I've ever been to, and everything was just beautiful. The house was absolutely perfect for me and 6 friends to celebrate a bachelorette party. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and by far exceeded all of our expectations. Communication with Kyle was 10/10 and we are already discussing making this an annual girl's weekend getaway location for years to come!
