Had a wonderful stay at the historic hideaway! We came to Jax for my son's wedding and the place was great. Appreciated the beautiful view and waterfront property. Quiet neighborhood.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin by the river this week. The cabin was beautiful and had a rustic charm and everything was very clean and spacious. We will be going back again as the host met all our expectations. If you want peace and quiet this is your place to be.

The property was amazing and so well stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy! It was a perfect house for a perfect getaway! We loved it and hope to go back very soon! We had a great time, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, plenty of dishes, cookware, flatware etc.The grounds and scenery were beautiful and our dog Maggie May had a blast running all over. We will definitely check and see if this cabin is available when we decide to return to Jacksonville.

Perfect cozy place to stay for my family coming from a major city. Country feel yet not country with access to everything any major city can offer. Clean residence and well maintained lawn. Fire pit, fire place, on the river with a bit of privacy was a great vibe. Host was amazing. Ultimately this was a great place to kick back, shower and sleep nice.

The house is in a perfect setting and absolutely amazing. We loved the quirkiness and character of the property and they way the history is preserved and celebrated. We have nothing negative to say and will definitely be looking to stay here again when we are in town.
