The cottage can sleep eleven people and has five bedrooms, three of which are ensuite and two family bathrooms. There is also a sofa bed on the landing. The rest of the accommodation is made up of a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is off road parking for five cars and an enclosed patio area with outdoor furniture, charcoal barbecue (charcoal not included) and a private hot tub. There is also a shared games room and gym. With its neighbouring cottages, Trooper's Barn can sleep a total of thirty nine people in a lovely rural setting.

Visitors can enjoy Church Stretton - known to the Victorians as Little Switzerland - with its antique shops and tea-rooms, in the midst of the beautiful Long Mynd Hills and close to the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre.
