QUARRY HOUSE, pet friendly, luxury holiday cottage in Moneystone
This stunning, detached cottage in the hamlet of Moneystone, near Oakamoor in Staffordshire can sleep up to four people in two bedrooms.
Quarry House is a superb, detached cottage boasting feature beams, quaint window seats and original quarry tiled floors in the hamlet of Moneystone near Oakamoor in Staffordshire. The cottage offers a king-size double and a 4 double room, both with Jack-and-Jill access to a shower room. There is an external pod with 1 x twin (zip/link bed which can be made king-size upon request). On the ground floor you will find a further shower room, which also houses a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a comfy dining area with a Rayburn range for extra warmth and a sitting room with a cosy woodburning stove. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars, and a lawned garden wrapped around the whole cottage, with a front patio and a rear patio with furniture. Quarry House truly is a wonderful base for friends and family to gather and explore this wonderful area of the Peak District.

Rayburn range, combi microwave/oven/grill, electric hob, fridge, compact freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in ground floor shower room, dishwasher, 2 x TV with Freeview and BT Sport, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Front, side and rear enclosed lawned garden. Front patio and rear patio with furniture and BBQ. Paddock. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Ramped access available from parking area to front door. Note: Owner can accept an on-line grocery delivery between 10am and 12 noon on the day of arrival. Note: Steep cottage stairs, not suitable for less mobile.
Note: There is one pub in the local village, this is approximately 1 mile away. If you choose to walk there and back, the road is steep,narrow and unlit.
Note: Dogs are not permitted upstairs unless guests are prepared to bring their own bedding, Reactive dogs that need to be allowed upstairs, but sleep in their own bed , are by prior arrangement with the owner.

Town: Moneystone lies just south of the Peak District National Park, and the hamlet is surrounded by walking trails along country lanes, through valleys and over hills. Overlooking the Churnet Valley, this is a lovely spot for getting out and about, and cyclists have a choice of two former railway routes which now offer picturesque rides through lovely countryside. Amenities can be found in the nearby market towns of Ashbourne and Leek, while those who fancy a wilder day out will enjoy Alton Towers theme park, just a few miles away.
