Great location

Was as expected-plenty of room for a family of 4 with two teenagers. Would potentially be a good stay for up to two families with younger children as the loft has 2 sets of twin bunk beds. The staircase to the loft may require adult supervision for younger children.

Good location. Quick Ski-in/out. Shuttle service right at front door. Hot tubs with views. We slept 9 of us here and while it wasn't ideal size-wise we managed to make it work and have fun. Good service ad friendly people.

The unit was clean, tons of towels but it needed new mattresses and pillows. Also, it is a pretty good walk to get to a spot where you can ski, so it’s not technically ski in/out. Love Steamboat but probably will pick a different rental next time.

The condo is extremely old and insufficiently equipped for the number of people it holds. Only 5 towels and 2 parking spots for 10 people. Reached out to the service team numerous times with no response

shuttle service worked well

Walking, driving and skiing are all options from this unit to the gondola, shops and restaurants, but the shuttle service was the easiest way to get around. Getting phone numbers for both the Ski Inn front desk and the Vacasa shuttle service were key. Before we arrived, the Vacasa number had given us incorrect information about when our condo would be ready for check-in and where to be dropped off (we took an Uber from the airport). But after those glitches, the location became "ideal," as advertised.

Nice, cozy condo for ski trip (free shuttle is the best)

The condo itself is perfect for a ski trip. It’s got just the right amount of space for a group of 6-8 people (our group had 8 adults, and it was a little tight, but worked fine). We loved the location to the slopes, however it is much easier to ski in than it is to ski out. Requires about a 100 yard walk to the actual slope that allows you to ski out, but can ski in much easier. I will point out that the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the location of the laundry and hot tubs. The pictures led me to believe the shared hot tubs and shared laundry were in the same building as the condo - that is not the case. The laundry and hot tubs require a short walk to the main lobby building.Its not a horrible walk, but it isn’t the best either when it’s freezing and snowing. Overall, a great place to stay with a group for a week of skiing! Especially given the prompt (complimentary) shuttle service that takes you anywhere around the base and to several restaurants/grocery stores in town. Also has your own ski locker in the bottom of the building to store your gear.

Good stay, slightly underwhelming service from vacasa

This will sound minor, but the accumulation of small things that didn't feel comfortable led to the 4 start review. Towels pitted and left tons of lint on us. Communicated with Vacasa who did not replace the towels. Their follow-up via text was good, but the actual actions were not. Dishwasher was not installed or mounted correctly and "fell'. We had to reposition it to get it to sit properly. Light sconces were crooked. Front desk was very nice and helpful, but internal communication lag between Vacasa and front desk.

Unit is nice for 4 adults and 4 kids. Bunk beads in loft and 2 brs. Bunks need some service as squeaky and a bit wobbly. End of season and seem to have been well used. Kitchen well equipped. Close to slopes. Short walk uphill to ski over to mountain. Worked well for the trip. A little road hard but prob keeps busy all season.

The condo was very dated, but clean. Although shag carpet could be replaced and it would seem much cleaner. The bathrooms are tiny. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for two families. Do not expect to be able to ski in and ski out. With a short walk you “could” ski out but not convenient. It was close to Gondola Square which was convenient with the shuttle that Vasco offers.

Great ski condo.

This is a very nice unit for the price. It was very clean and slept 6 people comfortably. It could've slept even more, as we had two beds in the loft bunks and a sleeper sofa that were both unused for our group. It would've felt very crowded with 8+ people though. The kitchen was quite small, but that's common in ski condos in my experience. Ski in ski out access was great, but be warned that it is slightly uphill so you will have to walk a bit before you can strap your skis on. It's still much less walking than from the shuttle drop off at the base or any of the free lots. The hot tubs were excellent, with great views. All in all a fantastic unit. I'd definitely stay there again.

Perfect!

We had a party of 9! 2 couples and 5 kids under 14. The space worked well for us since we weren’t in there that much. The bedrooms and lofts are ample size. The kitchen and living area are tight but again, it worked for us. The customer service and front desk were also helpful. It’s a quick walk (2-3 blocks?) to the gondola line which seems long after a day of skiing in ski boots but definitely doable!

Very convenient weekend stay

This spot was super easy for multiple parties to stay, as they provided as many parking passes/room keys as needed. The ski in ski out is just a minute walk or so, and the free shuttles were very convenient to take to dinner. Overall, this airbnb was very cozy, the only remark I would have is bring your own towels!
