East Hampton Summer Retreat and Oasis is surrounded by over 3 acres of woods creating privacy and serenity. This two story home is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, a very large deck with comfortable seating and eating area for alfresco dining under the stars. The house is spacious with 5 comfortable bedrooms and artistic touches. There is a large kitchen where you can eat there or share the cooking experience with others. The house is well maintained and has a warm and nurturing spirit. It’s a perfect place to recuperate after a long year of work. The outdoor fire pit extends the use of the beautiful outdoor space. There is also a lovely back porch facing the woods, perfect for reading and relaxing.
The living room has a large fireplace as a welcoming centerpiece.
There are many local hiking paths right out the door where you can enjoy a 500 acre Nature preserve. The inexpensive Sag Harbor Golf Course is 5 mins away. Beaches are beautiful this time of year for walks and safe small group gatherings. Ideal for families. No more than 8 people. Designed for family gatherings.

Nice place

Home had everything we needed. Large kitchen and extraordinary deck were high points. Beautiful property, full of trees, well landscaped and lovely flowers. Lots of parking. Close to village, inexpensive state golf course and town nature center. Well kept home and properly.

Beautiful base

I visited with my adult siblings, mother, and significant others. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is amazing and is a great hangout spot in the mornings as well as an efficient place to make a large meal to serve in the very large dining room. While close to the beach and great restaurants, this is an excellent place to stay if you are planning on spending significant time at the house. The deck is huge and so pleasant to hangout on with a gas grill and fireplace, as well as two dining areas and a large seating space.

Most charming place ever!

Amazing, spacious house tucked away close to Sag Harbor. We worked remotely for two weeks and fell in love with the area and house. Jaye and Carol were super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this beautiful house!!!

Lovely location with great access to beaches

The house was spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. All our cooking needs were met. We also could be engaged in several sports activities near by. The surrounding towns are very pleasant to visit. Our host, Jaye, was very helpful and accommodating.

Over the last many years I have worked as a business consultant, executive and life coach. Co-author of three books around living a better life. I have used the house and property many times for family reunions, team building activities and retreats. It’s great for family gatherings, relaxing and for work groups that need to be together and be in an open and nurturing environment for learning and growing.

Why they chose this property

I have spent years creating a warm and nurturing setting for individuals, families and small work groups. There are lots of outdoor and indoor spaces for relaxing or gatherings. It is conveniently located just outside of Sag Harbor and East Hampton town. There are many Bay beaches and just a few miles from, what has been called, amongst the top most beautiful beaches in the country.
There is a NY State, 9-hole Golf Course, where you can play for just a few dollars. Great restaurants nearby, all with indoor dining and online ordering and pick up options. A list of local sites to see and restaurants is provided to all renters.

What makes this property unique

Feedback from all renters has been the creative aesthetic but also the warm and positive energy felt throughout the house.
