Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the amazing views and found the home spacious and comfortable.
We appreciate your feedback about the road — it’s something the neighborhood has been actively working on, and we're happy to share that it has recently been improved for a smoother drive. That said, we still recommend using a heavy vehicle or 4-wheel drive to ensure the best experience, especially during inclement weather.
Thanks again for your feedback, and we’d love to welcome you back in the future!
The property was very peaceful, relaxing and fun. The space and thoughtful layout of the house allowed us to cook together, play games and interact together on many levels. We definitely recommend this place!
My husband, 3 kids (ages 5 months-10 years), myself and our grandmother came and stayed here to just have a quiet getaway from our daily lives! Everything about this place was so relaxing! The house was supplied with so much that made our stay even easier!
Nice place with great decks and views. Enjoyed the hot tub. Solid wood floors and open layout. Ordered the large firewood package, but disappointing that there were no matches or fire starter provided. Host said I needed to go to town and pick that up. Host said GPS is not accurate to getting to house, and instead to follow written directions. This caused delay, and Google Maps worked excellent. Coffee available was a big Costco Folders container with spoon in it. For 1,100 per night fee, would have expected better service, attention to small details from property owners / manager.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for highlighting what you enjoyed, including the decks, views, hot tub, solid wood floors, and open layout.
We appreciate your comments regarding the firewood package. This service is provided through a third-party vendor, and an email was sent well in advance of your arrival noting that matches or fire starters are not included. We provide written directions to all of our properties because GPS accuracy can vary in this area; however, we’re glad Google Maps worked well for you and will continue refining our guidance to help minimize delays for future guests.
Regarding the coffee provided, we offer a complimentary starter supply of Folgers drip coffee for guest convenience. We appreciate your suggestion and will be happy to convey your feedback to the cabin owner.
We strive to deliver a high level of service and attention to detail, and your feedback helps us improve. Thank you again for staying with us, and we appreciate you choosing our property.
A wonderful location to view the river and hear the birds in the early morning with a cup of coffee. Really loved the views from the main suites and living room were amazing!
Extremely clean home and they provided great games for the family to play during our visit. We enjoy the video arcade and shuffle board. Highly recommend this location for anybody staying with family.
Absolutely gorgeous house, very clean, beautiful view, the lights were on and music playing when we arrived. New towels, new sheets and comfortable beds.
We brought our families up for a pre Thanksgiving trip. The cabin is exactly as featured. Truly outstanding and beautiful. The winding road was a little scary in the dark but after traveling it a few times that went away. We loved the house
Highly recommend
We feel so lucky and blessed to have stayed here. Magical views, gorgeously decorated and built property, luxury and isolation at its best. There is a house being built next door that will share this view won’t be the same much longer.

Kim, thank you for the 5-star review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay at High Falutin Hideaway. The cabin built next door fortunately does not obstruct the magical views looking over Beavers Bend State Park and the Mountain Fork River. We look forward to hosting you future stay in our area. We had an amazing time. The views were breathtaking and the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. I read the prior reviews that mentioned the cabin didn’t have seasonings or sharp knifes so we took our own which were not needed. The owners obviously read the reviews and addressed this issue. I would highly recommend this as a family getaway.
Spectacular! Our family trip was amazing. Beautiful views, perfectly designed house and close to everything. What else can you ask for? A hot tub, video games, a chefs kitchen and spacious and comfortable furnishings throughout. We will return again. And again.
Enjoyed the cabin, decks, fireplace, hot tub! Sewer needs to be pumped. Spray was very unpleasant.
Note: One bag for the cornhole game was missing when we got there.

Melanie, thank you for the 5 star review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We had the septic pumped after your departure and I'm sorry for any inconvenience. We would love to host you again in the future.
The house was very nice, very clean and quiet. The only issue we had was the refrigerator was out. The refrigerator and freezer was only cool. The freezer wouldn’t even keep ice. We bought a couple small ice chest and problem solved.
I would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend

Thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry for the inconvenience of the freezer. We have resolved this issue and look forward to hosting your future stay. Rustic Luxe Cabins Broken Bow
Wonderful cabin in a wonderful location. The views from this cabin are amazing! Sitting atop a high ridge overlooking a valley and the Mountain Fork river you will have plenty to see. Wake up to find the valley below completely engulfed in fog it feels as though you are standing above the clouds. If you are lucky enough to schedule your stay during clear weather you will see all the stars in the sky. The cabin could use a little attention in the way of upkeep to maintain its luxury status. Only real negative (which is nobody’s fault) there is a new cabin being built next door so we experienced quite a bit of construction noise. Just unlucky I guess. Overall the cabin is beautiful, the location is perfect and we had a great time!
My husband and I enjoyed this beautiful, big, clean cabin! We brought our 1 year old. Thankfully the houses on either side of this one didn’t have any guests. It felt very secluded! The road was a bit steep and curvy getting to the house. We loved the wrap around deck that we could lock to keep our baby safe. If you bring little ones, make sure you’re ok with only playing on the deck because all around the house are rocks and steep cliffs! There’s also no bath if you’re little one does ok with a shower.
The house was extremely clean, and the beds were comfy! Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen equipment, tvs, etc. There aren’t any storage bags or Tupperware so make sure to pack that for fridge storage or your road trip home. Also the knives were pretty dull and we struggled cutting things.
The hot tub was perfect and super clean! The indoor fireplace made the upstairs smell like gas so we avoided using it.
Overall we would absolutely go back and bring friends and family! The deck views and bedroom views are hard to beat!!
We had several problems with this property, and with its manager. First when we arrived we were met with dried feces on the front porch, which normally I could forgive considering the cabin was in the woods but when we told this to the property manager they assured us they were there and hour before and nothing was there. We proceeded to enter the property and found that all towels were wet so we couldn't freshen up after our long drive. The road conditions were not up to par and we ended up having to replace a tire because of it. Thought, of all the things that were frustrating the most was when we arrived with cooler full of groceries for our trip only to find the freezer would not stay cool and the refrigerator wouldn't hold temperature either. We were not made aware of this prior to coming to the property and when the property manager was contacted she let us know she was fully aware of the issue and they were waiting on a part to come in leaving us without a useable fridge and freezer. We were in contact with the property manager after our stay to have some of these issues rectified but we could not reach an acceptable solution. Would not book again.

Before I address your concerns, I want to emphasize that Rustic Luxe Cabins Broken Bow has a stellar 5-star rating in our area. We are proud to hold 'Super Host' and 'Premier Host' status with VRBO and Airbnb, a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
We are disappointed to read this review. I am the property manager, and we corresponded during your stay as well as after your stay in which you did not wish to discuss on the phone. I inspected this property just an hour prior to your arrival and it was guest ready, including the towels. You are correct this cabin is in the woods, and it is possible an animal came behind me. As far as the roads go, the road leading to the cabin has been temporarily fixed and HOA is discussing a more permanent solution. As mentioned in our listing, we recommend guests drive a 4 Wheel Drive or a heavy vehicle. I did apologize for the freezer becoming inoperable the day of your arrival and you were compensated for the inconvenience. The issue with the freezer has now been resolved. We understand your disappointment and are committed to improving our service based on your feedback.
