The property was everything it was described to be. The location is secluded but not so remote that you can’t find others. The stars were visible because there’s no civilization lights. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had. Great rental, hope to use it again.
The layout of this property was perfect for our family of 5. A bit further from downtown Asheville than expected, but didn’t bother us as we took day trips to hiking spots which made the location good. Grill is a charcoal grill. Host was responsive to all our questions in a timely manner. Very cool place to relax for our family Christmas!

Our stay was lovely. The area was beautiful and we saw several deer each morning and at dusk. The location was great for us, very close to everything but felt tucked away. Our host was responsive, friendly and completely transparent with an issue that honestly didn't effect us at all. The mattresses a bit too soft, I would have preferred one with support but the sheets were buttery soft. This was the perfect place for our long weekend in Asheville and I would highly recommend it.

Girls trip
Three moms running away for a few days...when we arrived we couldn't get in with the pass code. The hosts answered their phone and told us we were at the wrong cabin, but my app said it was correct. So we went to the one they told us to go to and easily got in. After getting settled we were ready for the hot tub-it didn't heat. But it somehow was heated in the morning. But the cover is falling apart and was a beast to put on/off. The place is supposed to sleep six, but there were only two coffee cups-so you may need to bring dish ware. The beds were sunken in and not comfortable. The location is great. The hosts were quick to respond when we had issues. We had a great time...but it's not one of those rentals that you feel the hosts really love doing this.
The cabin was just as advertised. Comfy beds and lovely porch. The hot tub was a nice amenity after sight seeing all day.

Great...except one thing
Great location as others have noted, 20 minutes from Asheville and near good hiking. House is nice, finishes and appliances are basic, but design is charming. Can't use firestick, but direct TV has many channels. Property feels secluded, tho there are other cabins nearby. Beautiful fall color! Our only note: the hot tub seemed unclean, with murky water that was almost gray, lots of white floating flakes. Owner assured us it was clean, but we've rented a bunch of homes with hot tubs and we've never seen water like that. Maybe we were at the end of the usual 3-month draining cycle? Anyway, if hot tub is important to you, you might want to inquire.
Nice cabin in the woods. A bit further from Asheville than we’d thought. Pretty comfortable. Some broken blinds and cords so clearly a rental but worked well for us overall
Hickory Haven cabins were very charming with large porches perfect for evenings with a glass of wine or mornings with a cup of coffee! We found the cabin very clean and comfortable with adequate linens and towels. Our only want would have been more condiments and supplies in the kitchen such as salt and zip locks or foil and plastic wrap. But other than that lack we had everything we needed for making breakfast! Furniture and beds were plentiful and comfy! Thanks for leaving a s’mores starter set for us, the fire pit was great. We definitely want to return for another stay! The location was very convenient to everything Asheville had to offer. Such a quiet and beautiful area!
The house is clean and new inside, yet outside you feel like you’re in a log cabin in a secluded section of the woods. Many deer would walk by and we loved the location as it’s close to downtown, yet great for day hiking/exploring trips via the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s situated beyond a beautiful community called Biltmore Lake. Trip favorites included: the towns of Hot Springs and Black Mountain, Lovers Leap Loop and Moore Cove Falls hikes, and then Early Girl and Hole (breakfast and the best donuts ever). Book your stay in this cabin!
This was a wonderful rental stay! The cabin was clean and in a beautiful location! We were close (15-20min) drive to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate! Many wonderful restaurants and shopping! Would stay here again!
Cozy setting; very private and quiet. Great location to Asheville venues and surrounding areas. Comfortable home with good amenities. (Could use some extra towels and wine glasses). Very clean and equipped with the basics.
We had a great time and the cabin was perfect for a group of 6. We spent the weekend mostly hanging out here in the hot tub and at the fire pit. We also went into Asheville which was a super easy drive. We also had a dog with us and communication and getting the pet deposit paid was really easy. Thanks so much!
We had a dishwasher that did not work and the washer did not cycle correctly
Renting the property was very easy but getting the property manager to answer emails was very slow
Would have been nice to have both washers working

Our goal is to give everyone an awesome stay. I reached out immediately unfortunately it was several days before the appliance repair company could do the repair. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience.
We enjoyed spending some family time together at Christmas. There was plenty of space to relax in a quiet country setting that really is close to Asheville attractions!
Do not use mapping software to find the location! The owner's directions are accurate and easy to follow---Do not use your phone!
My family and I stayed two nights and three days here while we toured the Biltmore. It was perfect for the 6 of us. We received an email with instructions and directions and were able to find the place without any problems. Everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival. Bedsheets, toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and even a body wash/soap dispenser was provided. We enjoyed our stay here and are likely to book again if in the Asheville area.
Great little cozy cabin looking over a lovely ranch. Definitely a great place to come with friends and family for a chilling out time, and trails nearby for great scenic walks!
Very clean and had everything we needed! The place is well stocked with cooking items. Has a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. No automatic ice machine so you may want to pick up a bag on your way in. We had a lot of fun! Front porch is beautiful!
